Re: Hat-tricks

From Despair To Where? I remember us being 3-0 up at half time against Port Vale and creaming it but falling apart in the second half. IIRC, Archie had scored a hat-trick in the previous home game.

Against Swindon, wasn't it? :)

Didn't Gilkes play for Barbados? Yes he played a few times right at the end of his career, not sure if that qualifies for this list though as Gilkes did not "come from" Barbados (he was born in Hackney) How many of our Jamaicans came from Jamaica? Leigertwood certainly didn't come from An...

Re: Hat-tricks

Platypuss He was born in Australia and has caps for Australia. I think that makes him Australian.

That may be so, but he surely isn't 100% Australian. I think I read somewhere that he was also eligible to play for Scotland.

Good answer, but I'd say he isn't really Australian considering he grew up in this country.

Anyone else?

Hat-tricks

Does Orlando Sa's hat-trick last night mean that it's the first time somebody from outside of the British Isles (So that rules out the likes of Kevin Doyle and Shane Long) to score a hat-trick for Reading :?:

Just wondering.....as I'm sure that Pavel Pogrebnyak never scored a hat trick for us.

So serious that I posted it twice. No, it's because you're such a f***ing idiot, Mr "I-know-it-all". Royal Rother is equally a f***ing idiot. Where has the nasty screwball been all this time? His deeply considered input has been greatly missed. Presumably the mods have now dealt with him ...

Re: Next seasons kit choice?

It's all about having enough to differentiate each kit from the previous to make people buy the latest one. If they stuck to the kit we nearly all want, ie a simple narrow'ish blue and white hoops with white shorts and socks, they couldn't flog as many every season. Remember to post this every July...

Re: Madejski Sold out and failed again

The trouble with this thread, nay, the forum, barney, is that everyone claims facts and everybody takes all for gospel.

What a lot of idiots on here fail to realise:

NOT EVERYTHING YOU READ ON THE INTERNET IS TRUE!

Re: Next seasons kit choice?

WAZZOCK There doesn't need to be any logic, it's a fact.

Let's just accept I'm right and move on.

Actually, no. Logic dictates that fact be proven, which you haven't done and therefore you can't be right.

So....no, we can't move on.
