Re: Rival Watch

rabidbee For the record, I’m no longer particularly concerned that we’ll go down (although….), I just enjoy a good countdown.

Five… four… three…

As with all these surveys we're asked to complete it would be nice if you could share the findings with us on here when they are available.

Re: Generic clubs in financial crisis Thread

Leeds owe 180 million in unpaid transfer fees. :o You know the more I read about these clubs the more angry I get knowing that we have continually been kicked in the nuts. Yes we broke rules but the likes of Leicester, Leeds, West Brom all seem to go under the radar. I guarantee they will get a red...

Re: Record Watch 23/24

Sometimes I think about Sunderland fans when they had the record - they must've thought it would never be taken, only for us to beat it a couple of years later. They beat their own record after a couple of years as well didn't they? Having taken it off Fulham? Winners of Division 2 (2nd tier) since...

NathStPaul Barnsley have the greatest walk out music ever. For that reason alone I am fearing a heavy defeat.

And what exactly is this "greatest walk out music ever"?

Full-time - so the max target is down to 4 (6).

No, we could still finish level with Cheltenham on 53, so if you want to ignore GD it’s still 5.

Which can be achieved this Saturday with a win and defeats for Cheltenham and Burton.

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

There were a few comments about how we look a decent team and a few on Bindon's clearance where his commitment and awareness impressed some but generally they're just pissed off about how they are sleepwalking and how clueless Matt Taylor is. General consensus was that we won comfortably but they w...

Re: Record Watch 23/24

Ascotexgunner Embarrassing from Leicester. Premier League spine, spent gazillions in wages, lost 9 games. Should have walked this league. Pathetic.

Reading's record will always be the greatest points achievement, as they did it without a PL level squad and gazillions in parachute payments.

Re: Generic clubs in financial crisis Thread

Sounds like shit hitting the fan with 777's Everton takeover. Sky reporting that the Premier League have approved in principle subject to several conditions: - All money they have lent so far is converted to equity (easy enough) - £60m is placed in escrow to help Everton's day to day funding - They...

Re: Generic clubs in financial crisis Thread

The PL are screwing up the PSR rules with timings. The final round of fixtures kick off at 4pm on 19 May - every club should know the outcome of their season at 6pm. If Luton are half celebrating survival but know it's dependent upon the outcome of Forest's appeal, it will be the most farcical scen...

Truro drew at home 0-0 v Eastbourne last night. They have to play again tonight v Yeovil. This stupid madness at these levels really should be stopped and seasons allowed to be extended.

WestYorksRoyal Port Vale travel to P'Boro tonight. Do we feel confident enjoying to start supporting them yet? Would much rather Cheltenham and Burton went down.

A two goal defeat will put them back in the bottom 4 and the more teams there are in the deeper stuff the better so come on 'boro.

Yeah. Apparently Curo played an Isthmian League match (at 48!!) for Maldon & Tiptree as recently as last month. And has just been "promoted" to manager/head coach at Maldon and oversaw their 5-2 win at Stowmarket (who have not won all season) last night. Maldon are now 10th in the Ist...

As noted above, Zygi and Mark Wilf (brothers and co-owners of the Minnesota Vikings) are an East Coast family (New York/New Jersey and Florida) and would not be referred to as "West Coast investors". There is no shortage of "West Coast investors" over here, many of which have so...
