Re: Brian: The right decision?

^ Yeah LOL, just look at that Championship table as we pull 3 points clear of Leeds with our parachute payments and larger budget  Why can't people accept they were wrong about replacing McD with Adkins with good grace :?: Because McD failed in the prem, and Adkins had lost 2 of the last 12 be...

Cureton's Volley
windermere_royal jesus fecking christ will this ever end?

Yes.

When Adkins starts to value results over "good possession of the football".

Or else with "Nigel: The right decision?"

Re: Is Adkins another Brendan Rodgers?

He's only really par for the course at Liverpool. He's come into a difficult situation and has stopped them going further backwards, but he's wasted a lot of money doing so , and mismanaged Nuri Sahin, ruining Liverpool's chances of signing him permanently. Too early to say really. Only Borini has ...

Re: Barnsley - in the car

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but Guthrie is one booking away from a suspension (I think), and had already committed at least 4 or 5 fouls. How he was not booked before he went off was incredible  McCarthy - 7. Good saves but distribution was poor. Gunter - 6. Went backwards after a great pe...

Re: We have the best back 5

Courtois is so much better than Szczesny  In what ways? Cortois is worse at passing than McCarthy Courtois is one of the best keepers in Spain, and has been for the last 2 years. He is an unbelievable shot stopper, which is the main attribute for keeper. Szczesny makes a lot more errors when ...

Re: We have the best back 5

I pretty much agree with all of this. The only top club I can see coming in for McCarthy are Arsenal. United, Chelsea, City and Spurs have young, world class goalkeepers, and Liverpool just signed a new goalkeeper who is doing well enough so won't waste money on a slight upgrade. Goalkeeper is prob...

Re: B F T G_brum

Thought the ref had a good game today. Unlike the refs v Leeds and Brighton, he seemed to want to avoid giving out yellow cards for every foul. Drenthe or McAnuff in for HRK when fit please. McCarthy's kick against Zigic was  Pog looked up for it today, he keeps the ball so well when played to ...

Re: BFTG - Leeds

From the radio it sounded like Blackman had a few chances and seemed to be pacey and get himself in the right place a few times? He can't have been *that* bad surely? He was ok, but people need someone to vent their anger at or blame for everything that goes wrong. Would rather Blackman as a strike...

Re: Dim Tellor Twitter Rant

I have always rated Dellor - and he performs a wonderful Laurel & Hardy act with Mick Gooding - but I agree that he has gone a bit soft recently; I am astonished at the dismissive attitude which Adkins shows towards him and - by implication - towards us Can we at least agree on a few facts? - 1...

Re: back in the car from the Brighton (H) game

Brum Royal Must admit I'm yet to be convinced by Williams. Not really seen him do a lot in the 4 games I've seen this season.

Changed the game v Ipswich
One of our better players v Yeovil
Did well against Watford

Re: Pogrebnyak

ZacNaloen you can just about see his ankle get clipped. But it wasn't enough to send him over, which is why it was a dive.

Arm being pulled back aswell, so it should have been a free kick too us. Although Pog did go down like he was shot

Re: Pogrebnyak

Dive for the first yellow, fell over because he knew he was going to lose the ball
2nd yellow was a clear foul, amazed at how bad/blind Sky's Championship commentators are
