I'll have to agree with commentary regarding Bryn's ability to score from outside the 18 yard box. Reading really lacked that last season (with exception from Seoul-man's scores and Lita's two magnificent strikes against city). I really hope Reading can increase their shots-on from out. It would hel...

Excellent news! Looking forward to all the humble pie to be eaten by those claiming we wern't doing anything in the transfer market and we'd get relegated for sure. Agreed! Kind of the same as last year - the newly promoted were adding to the squad while Reading fine-tuned. Now S'land, City, and De...

Any chance of Peace Cup in the US??

Hey CFC,

I went to the Setanta NA schedule and it's nothing - even though the GB version has coverage. Have you heard of any other options?

Reading 2006-2007 Goal Statistics?

Was just wondering where I can find statistics of goals scored e.g. header from wing play, from set piece and the like.

Given the frequent comments such as "Reading are dangerous from set pieces" I was wondering what is the truth.

If you stepped back and tried to view this as a non Reading fan, you might be able to see it more objectively. We finished 8th this year. Fantastic achievement, but you can hardly call us an established top flight team... What does it really mean to be "an established top flight team"?. I...

Shorey's now in the England B. The comments of little clubs not providing the forum for showcasing talents to the country managers is moot.

Brynar Gunnarsson...............hats off......what a star

Celebrate good times

C'mon

Bryn - very good midfielder - I couldn't help but think if Siddy had tried the same shot it would have ended-up high in the stands.

I watched the post match interview twice to see if there was any indication that SSC was joking. To anyone that doesn't understand the wage structure of Reading, it certainly looked like a serious comment.

My guess is that JM is taking out a loan and it's all going to Sidwell. :D

Right at the end, Long got shoved but didn't go to ground, and the Fox Soccer Channel commentators said that we might have well got a penalty had he did. Did anyone else see the incident? They didn't replay it, so I only got one look at it. Sky noticed it and thought El Karkourai was lucky not to h...

I agree our strikers don't look like scoring at the mo but Liverpool do have some class defenders in their ranks. A part from the 2 goals we looked okay at the back I thought. We can differently get 8 - 9 points (maybe more) out of the rest of the games if we play like that. Agreed - I was lying aw...

Very poor in the second half. Created nothing at all. nor conceded anything ffs.......... God only knows how. From what I heard we did concede - twice. Both were called offside but only one of them was. Granted, the penalty was harsh. But 1-0 flattered us it seems. From what I watched, we looked al...

Defence pretty good esp when Sonko comes back, forwards will score if given the opportunities, its the midfield where the most concern lays for me and surely something sir Steve needs to look at in the summer Agree. Harps was really off today, Sid did OK but will be off and Blakey has now been off ...

It does speaks volumes, however, when some choose to criticise Lita, but say nothing about Long. I don't think I was alone when the starting 11 were announced - I was very surprised Long was in instead of Kitson. He did have a couple of good chances but Boro's back 4 were really tight today. I didn...
