Re: Do you want Ince as our manager next season.

I definitely don't want to be seen to over-react, and I haven't got particularly strong feelings either way.

That said - I'd rather stab myself up the c0ck with a biro than watch Paul Ince's style of football for another season. Life is too short.

Re: Likes and dislikes

Skewed football statistics and graphs. e.g. "This is what the league would look like if it started in June." Or, "Leading goalscorers since Erling Haaland returned from injury (away games only)". Makes no sense whatsoever. It's for people who like simple, colourful bar graphs (an...

Re: Write a business plan to make Reading FC a premier league club.

We need to think outside the box to commercialise the club. - Be the first English club to sign a player from a developing country with squillions of residents (Indonesia?) = Sell a bunch of shirts and grow our reputation in the region - cue media stories of Indonesians travelling to every home game...

Re: Players at clubs who you had completely forgotten about

Not sure if correct topic, but Greg Halford is having a fun day. Turns out he lives in a very normal house on a normal estate, suffering from rising damp. https://twitter.com/GregHalford15/status/1616865560851005443?s=20&t=I_uDNcNgOg-gvk2TgfgL8A I don't think it's rising damp - i reckon its tha...

I like Martin Keown - but he's only at his concise, considered best on Talk Sport - where's he's had a chance to write down what he's going to say and then think about and edit it before he does.

Re: What team is most similar to Reading FC

For me, over the past few years, the Manchester United team since Sir Alex left - constant false dawns, some decent players who can't play together, erratic results, dodgy signings and weird away kits. Throw in some dodgy/odd managerial appointments And the highest paid player having a massive stro...

Re: Finger wagging at referees

Where do these gestures rank against the hands together/praying/pleading motion in the immediate aftermath of a disputed decision? Used to be seen as a continental thing in the 80's & 90's - but pretty universal now. It's embarrassing. I might start doing it in real life - e.g. when my boss says...
