Re: Away Season Tickets

I see the club have changed things then. The AST is even more of a joke now....you dont need a Home ST to get one....what the f**k! so any muppet who doesnt get watch home games can watch all the lucrative Away games. I may just get a AST for one season even though ill only be able to get to 1/2 th...

Re: The Madstad and increasing capacity

I think that all talk of increasing capacity is way too premature. I understand we can build up to 40,000? I can't envisage us ever needing a capacity of anything remotely near that figure. you may be surprise Reading is the bigges town in the uk and with only 1 club within a 25 miles radius there ...

Excellent player as long as it goes through and shows how astute Coppell is in the transfer market. I reckon this could be the first of a few signings progressing in the next few days. BRING IT ON! BRING IT ON! BRING IT ON! yeh i agree....who did warnock buy today...heard he was after a 3 leg...

As somebody said earlier he has played up front so it's good news that we have another striker and don't go with just the 4. I wouldn't be surprised to see Shane Long loaned out to a Championship side to get more regular football. With the new man also able to play out wide (as can Long and Doyle) ...

Like all target men it will depend on how good the service is. It took Peter Crouch almost all year to find his feet at Liverpool (mind you they were a long distance away). He ended up being England's main striker in Germany ! I won't rise to it! No, I won't!!!! Lord save us - Peter Crouch - Englan...

Re: Comrade Kitson

I thought he'd been quiet for a while - he's back - one of his better rants! Fifa has made it a game for softies Dave Kitson has accused football’s governing body FIFA of making the game a virtual non-contact sport, dictated by money. The Reading striker claims the World Cup has confirmed the sport...

He'll be fine. I'm quite looking forward to his England call up.... I agree my prediction to much amusement i am sure is that he will get an England call up in the next 2 years....provided he stays a prem league player..... johnson was mad...he should have left Palace when they went down....stuff t...

Re: Kitson in the Premiership

Don't get me wrong, the boy's been a legend for the club over the past few years, but is anyone else just a little worried that Kitson is going to look awful in the Premiership? I think that Doyle will be fine (and miniMe Long as well), Lita will depend on whether he gets started early - if his con...

Its a joke, to be honest - Its instantly devalues the committment of those who went to 10 away games last season, by making a meaningless friendly worth the same amount. Sort it out Reading. The club has long since devalued those who travel regularly to away games. 15 away games last season=...

Re: Confirmation of Away Season Tickets

stupid question....did the AST start this season or were AST's available in previous seasons? If so, I knew nothing of it and Ive been to almost every RFC home game and a large number of away games for 30 years. Alot of RFC fans I speak to say the same. I guess demand isnt as high in previous seaso...

Re: Confirmation of Away Season Tickets

Cant see another post on this... Obviously you know you'll get your ST because you'll see £545 leave your account....however for those of us who applied for away season tickets, how will we 100% know if its been successful? Will the club write to all those who get one? It is mentioned on the club p...

Definitely yes. 100%. But I feel VERY sorry for the long-standing fans (with young kids in tow or not) who now will be financially pushed out. yes my 5 year old boy wants to go, but i guess only some of the part time HST's dont buy their tickets......so for me its £300 (plus £95 for the carpark tic...
