Re: How do you book STAR Away Travel ?

The best way is not to leave it this late as sometimes the coaches have to be confirmed as much as a week before, but this time I think you should be OK. The only way now is to come to the STAR base (opposite gate 7 at the stadium) on Tuesday evening between 7.15 and 9pm. On Tuesday we filled the r...

Re: Stewards & away coaches leaving the stadium

Yes it happened after the Man City game and in fact happens after EVERY game. Man U was the same. Obviously it is more of a risk after dark though. Its on Shooters Way (the slope going away from the South stand). Away fans coaches are allowed to leave whilst thousands of fans are still walking past...

Can our Australian posters confirm his statement?

fanatical royal fan
I simply couldn't believe it - I hadn't seen Reading play for years and there is no coverage of the Premiership in Australia, so I had no idea that it had changed so much and that the club had got so big

By the way, anyone experience that incident on Saturday where one of the away coaches actually stopped to let thugs off to start trouble  I do hope some follow up can happen and that action can be taken against the driver and idiots on board. You may have heard that BBC Berks was certainly c...

Re: How do you book STAR Away Travel ?

HI I am a Star member, but haven't used the Coaches before. I am keen to go to West Ham this weekend, how do I reserve my place on the coach ? The best way is not to leave it this late as sometimes the coaches have to be confirmed as much as a week before, but this time I think you should be OK. Th...

Re: Capacity

Given all the discussion surrounding the stadium extension, I was just wondering what exactly we will be extending from. Sky Sports website: 24,200 seats OS: 24,045 seats Yesterday's attendance: 24,095. :? I had a plan for the pre segregation seats but am not sure how many have been taken out for t...

Re: Stewards & away coaches leaving the stadium

In an attempt to get the away coaches on their way, stewards were forcing all supporters to walk in the road....not onto the footpath!! Then as they let the coaches go - you guessed it - they drive down the road, motoring past the pedestrians. In hours of darkness and with small children amongst th...

Re: Moving a season ticket seat for a game

Can someone who has done this before let me know if I should get any other confirmation that this has been done successfully? I don't want to turn up and find my young son gets into the north stand and I don't. Thanks. I moved to a different stand on Tuesday and apart from being given a piece of pa...

Still no comment from STAR? Either you agree with the concern or you don't. If you do can you raise it with the club? Any aspect with the club that could have health & safety implications should be taken seriously by the supporters club.. I am hoping to get a meeting soon with the saftey office...

Same situation for me, wasnt' going because of work commitments but on my barclay card statement I had one £5 payment, called them up and they said I had signed for it. Going to make a complaint after the game. Reading FC had no right to do that at all and I advise everyone who isnt going to check...

Unfortunately this parking arrangement came too late for me as I had already renewed my parking with the club. If it is to continue next season then please can it be communicated at the season ticket renewal time? We were still negotiating then this season, but if it is not a success and will not b...

Re: The next STAR/Club meeting

It was also pointed out that free premiership badges are being put on all children's shirts - which is something I was unaware of. Can this be expanded-on a little more - I had to pay extra to have them put on my daughter's. I expected this response :D I will ask more but maybe the Megastore was un...

Are we able to pay match by match as opposed to £80 for the season ? no, it was decided to have season tickets so that the steward on the gate does not have to handle money and also give the school the assurance of knowing who has parked on their property. If it is a success it may encourage other...

It's on here: http://www.star-reading.org/archive.pl I'd venture to suggest that more people would take up the STAR parking offer if it were give a higher profile on the webpage. I have to say that I do find the layout/style of the STAR site confusing - it's certainly not immediately obvious that t...

Sorry but we do not have access to the RFC database to add the points so we cannot promise when they will be added we can only supply the information. This is especially true at the moment as the person involved is having to cover the vacant sales office managers job too.

Re: Parking

Dodd me if you want, i can't be bothered to look through to see if there's a thread. I am in two minds whether to bother with the game on Tuesday, and i think i am being swayed towards not going simply because i refuse to pay up to £10 for parking in Compaq or the Post House Hotel. I presume most ...

Re: Tickets

I have brought a ticket and accepted my royalty points with open arms. Im also gonna be there cheering on the lads in my seat. What gets me is why pay money for a ticket if you're not going to go? I must admit when we brought this subject up at the senior management meeting they told us that the 'n...

Re: The next STAR/Club meeting

Dear STAR - playing kit, what was the reason for the change in kit design this year and why the delay between home and away designs again - some people paid to renew/get STAR membership via the ST renewal yet in some/all cases this did not happen - ST installment payments not running efficiently - ...
