Re: Selles out

Snowflake Royal If he wasn't sacked for Fleetwood, it's unlikely he will be for Pompey.

I reckon he'll be gone before we play Derby though.

And given that he's an ex-Scummer. Pompey fans will be all over that on Saturday.

Re: Watney Cup

I loved watching that, I know my dad and uncle went, but they didn’t take me. I was only 7 and I expect they went for a few drinks in the Spread Eagle before the game. The best football I have seen us play for ages and it was great to see Steve Death one of my boyhood heroes. I didn’t start going u...

Re: Watney Cup

Thanks for the feedback and highlights lads. Much appreciated. After all, regardless of age, we're still lads at heart. And have stories that people would die for. Not literally, of course

Re: Watney Cup

I was a whipper snapper at the time and went with my cousin. It was a boiling hot day and we were queued up in Norfolk Road, before this United supporter, in close proximity, said "Aye up, here's lads". And then the Stretford End appeared around the corner from Kensington Road. Never seen ...

Watney Cup

I've had a scout around other areas on the board and can't see anything. So in remembrance of Sir Bobby, I wondered whether anybody else had the privilege of seeing him, as well as Georgie Best and Denis Law playing at Elm Park, against 'Ding, in the Watney Cup? Alongside memories of that day.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Swindon Town (h)

Years ago, I wouldn’t have missed this for the world, but I can’t be bothered to even watch it on Royals TV. Hopefully, Smith might get a game which might benefit us for the game at Charlton. It'll be interesting to see what the attendance will be tomorrow? This cup is poorly supported until the fi...

Re: “ Sell before we Dai “ supporters action group v2.2

Loafer surely we need to have a violent protest with flares and seats being ripped up and directors box being stormed?

You crack me up Loafer  You're like Citizen Smith of the current revolution.

Re: “ Sell before we Dai “ supporters action group v2.2

A protest march before the Pomps game could prove interesting. Anybody on here remember, going back in time, when Y25/26 were taunting Pompey fans with "Who's that coming over the hill, is it the tax man, is it the tax man?" Alongside "This is your funeral, this is your funeral"....

Re: Away form

SouthDownsRoyal
Royal_jimmy Ineffective tactics are clearly to blame. We just don't set up the right way and we're too open

You’re not suggesting the manager is to blame are you?

Mate (SouthDownsRoyal), we get it. You want Selles out. You've put it on enough threads. Can't you take up tiddliwinks or something?

Pepe the Horseman For anyone that wants to get carried away, we're 16/1 to win the EFL Trophy and 12/1 to finish top 6 in the league.

New owner on the way then? And not that ZZ Top lookalike who's been 'banded' around.

Re: Don Goodman?

First class **** end. Never has a good word to say about Reading. Stems from Elm Park days and the glorious victories that we imposed on Wolves. Archie scoring twice in injury time. The 3-1 victory that we needed to stay up......Southbank rocking. The 4-2 win with Jim & Mick in charge. Too many ...

Clearly, updates on the playing surface. FFS. Talk about the art of deflection. This lot are masters at it.
