Royal Lady Should we get relegated, we'll never be in the top flight again in my lifetime.

Yep, never quite understood all these people that assume that if we do get relegated, we'll bounce right back up into the Premiership again.

Lets face it, if you are a club, in the Premiership, and John Oster is the best option you have...you are struggling and you are in trouble. End of. Let's see what you say when Oster gets a couple of crucial assists over the next couple of matches... If that happens, then I'll say well done Oster.

Coppell's done well and we have a lot to be thankful to him for, but to say he should have the job for life is silly. Thats not typically how football works, and most people know it. Its more a case of 'what have you done for me lately?" Coppell's been good for us so far, but that doesn't autom...

I for one still don't care what he does outside the club. I think maybe its you that doesn't understand. What he does off the field is very relevant. It just is. Hence, this was a story and the NOTW published it. Cos they know people do care and will read it. If it wasn't relevant, people wouldn't ...

Let's leave his private life out of it. When you're famous and in the public spotlight you don't have a private life. Thats just the way it is. It comes with the territory. Most people in said spotlight have a grasp of that and know how to conduct themselves accordingly. Honestly, you think Mr. Mad...

I think Sid would have reacted better to the break up of the partnership than Harps, who doesn't seem to do change to well. What, so you mean we can put to bed the theory that Harps was being held back by Sids and that he would flourish after Sidwell's departure? Don't much care if someone d...

Sids was holding us back. He's overrated and replaceable. We'd have been in the Champions League if it weren't for greedy bollox. Harper is better off without him, too. So no, we don't need Sidwell back. We are doing just fine without him. And besides, Gunnar is better than Sids.

You are welcome. Great post. Very well done. Anyways, moving the discussion along... So, uh, are you concerned at all then? At pretty much full strength, losing to a newly promoted team? You think its possible we could be in some trouble at all? What, you misssed the 'If we lose to Sunderland, then ...

Shorey wanted out How did you work that one out? I've not seen him state this publicly other than his comments on his contract negotiations and he didn't even say much. Sidwell never stated publically that he wanted to leave, either. Few players ever actually do. You think Shorey is going to call a...

Also wonder whether players, if given a choice, simply don't want to come here.

If you are a player on the move, are we more attractive than, say, Sunderland, Bolton and Birmingham?

Players and their agents will look at our wage structure, see that Sidwell and Shorey wanted out, and be hesitant.

Alan Partridge Shorey's reaction at the end of the game, smiling, joking with the West Ham players and high fiving them, yeah he wants to be at Reading.

Hey ho, we all preferred it in the Championship anyway, right? :P

Do you think Derby have a better midfield? I dont think so. So after finishing 8th last season, we're now comparing ourselves to Derby (who might be the worst team in the league) and we're hoping we are better? Wonderful. Feel real bad for Coppell. He deserved better, and is gonna need to perform m...

We are now clear elegation candidates. We're in the bottom 3, having played a game more, and we've lost our last two games 3-0 to average/poor sides. You don't think that makes us candidates? We did it on a shoestring last season in the Premiership, and we're hoping lightning strikes twice. ...
