Re: What other teams do you follow?

There's something wrong when one person follows more than one club. What? Should all those who live outside of Reading for example shun any other live football? Is it wrong of me to take a passing interest in discussions relating to clubs other than Reading? Thaumagurist- get yourself to a lower le...

Re: What other teams do you follow?

Having spent three dark years living in Leeds and catching the odd game, and they were odd games, the club, support, whole feeling for the football club grew on me and I have to say that although I disagree with having second teams, I do 'follow' Leeds United and share a spot spot for them as a res...

Re: Kyocera sponsorship renewed and a new hooped away kit.

Well, I am not expert of business analysis, so I don't know whether sponsoring Reading Kit for 5 million pounds a year( is it?) is worth it or not. Kyocera has 180 subsidiaries and group companies, and they have over 63000 employee worldwide. Turnover in year 2006 was about 6000 million pounds and ...

Re: I hate Arsenal

cmonurz No-one can watch that tackle and seriously think it was malicious. It was very poor, late, and unfortunate, but nothing more.

Agree with you there. I watched the game live on TV and at the time I didn't even think it looked like a booking. This might have been the camera angles, I don't know.

Re: Best atmosphere

What we need to do it lower the Thames Valley area local economy- sack a few 1000 IT workers, the knock on effect should do the trick. Then get rid of most of the seating at Madejski Stadium so that there’s loads of a terraces. Half the admission price, get rid of stewards all together, and ban wome...

Re: Liverpool - I'm looking forward to seeing

Another thing-

Why do they always refer to their ground "an field"? Everybody knows the grammatically correct way to pronounce it is "a field".

Re: Liverpool - I'm looking forward to seeing

A young Iraqi signs a professional contract with Liverpool FC. On his debut game he is amazing and scores a stunning hat trick, the crowd goes wild singing 'Never Walk Alone' and the players carry him off on their shoulders after the final whistle. After the match he calls his mother to ask how thin...

Show them a copy of The Sun if they celebrate on of their inevitable goals too much.

Re: Sack the PA bloke

Sack the PA Bloke and replace him with Joe Pasquale! It would be worth the price of the season ticket alone to hear squaky voice man read out the squad names.

Either that or get Prof. Stephen Hawkins to do it.
