Re: MATCHWATCH : Sunderland (h)

One of the worst performances since Terry. Fornah is a L2 player at best - a midfield performance Mark Reilly would have been proud of. I'm bemused at best - v Stoke - 2 up front, dynamic team effort that deserved the win - tonight long balls to the lone Joao - I mean WTF. Sir Steve would not have ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Watford (a)

They made their decision too quickly to try to look like the Good guys and have ended up looking like muppets Banning kids grassroots footy especially whilst Cricket, Golf, Rugby etc continue at all levels is just pathetic And of course the pubs won’t be shutting as a ‘mark of respect’ over the wee...

JR Assume that’s because Sky red button not happening in August (don’t know why)

Not all these midweek games would be regular midweek in a normal season due to the World Cup

That would make sense. And choose the first few to not count as less people at home with it being the summer.

windermereROYAL That goal is disallowed with VAR, Hendrick standing right in front of the keeper, but i don`t care.

Don’t think so - the Spurs goal that was much worse last week wasn’t.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Blackburn Rovers (h)

The big question was how we were going to respond to a shocking performance with such a young / fragmented team. Well, we’ve only gone and smashed it out the park. I agree with the comments that we will see up and down results, but already it feels like there are no stand out teams in this league so...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Blackburn Rovers (h)

Right I thought the Sarr deal wasn’t over the line because of financial reasons. We needed Puscas wages off the books. No, Dellor just said it’s because of the squad size, we are only allowed 25. And we are at 25 already. So it’s very much much one in one out then. So not sure how this premier leag...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Blackburn Rovers (h)

Shows how far we have fallen that most of the discussion around this game is based around hoping the other team's forward is unavailable to play. Even without him they will beat us comfortably. We won't be a force until October. Disagree - they are in a false position like we were two years ago. Al...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Blackpool (a)

Feel like it's not a game without at least some ratings. Lumley - 7 no worrying moments, lucky with one off the post and a good save followed by I thought he could maybe do better with the goal. Claimed crosses well. Yiadom - 8 led really well and once released in the second half helped us get forw...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Blackpool (a)

I’m really looking forward to this season - I think partly it’s the prove the 100% of experts wrong who have us nailed on to go down and partly because of the excitement of the unknown of our squad. I think it’s fair to say we’ve had a much better close season than we could have expected. Pre-kids w...

Re: Next seasons kit choice?

Very proud of the club on this initiative - and for having the balls to do it knowing it would get a lot of stick. But you can’t make progress on fighting climate change without upsetting people. Key will be whether tangible action will be seen throughout the stadium / match day experience. Good to ...

Is there a formation where you don’t need to use central midfielders?

I’m sure Pep could think of one.

What Fox meant was that Pisa finished higher in league so only need to draw on aggregate after extra time to get promoted.

Fox Talbot
Fox Talbot Pisa 2-0 up after 15. George plays but hasn’t scored.

Now 2-1. Monza need at least a draw, I believe.

They won the first leg so yeah, a draw will be enough, Pisa need to win by 2 goals to avoid extra time.
