Re: And its all gone quiet over there.....

BBCRB now saying this morning that they understand we haven't spoken to anyone yet about the job. Then go on to say PDC is the favourite - based, solely, I presume on the bookies offering such low odds on him purely because he was at our game on Saturday. Thinking about it, he might have been there...

Re: POLL: Adkins or Poyet?

The Poison Chalice of Relegation is becoming a media storm of failed communication, speculation, clarity from the club, a failed game of musical chairs and can the last person please switch off the light. It would be laughable if it wasn't this club we were all talking about.

Re: Our Scouting System - good or bad

There is nothing wrong with the scouting system at RFC - Long, Doyle, Sidwell, Harper, Shorey to name a few are proof that the system has been working. Lack of funds or big money spending is the problem. All the other clubs sign players for 5million and more we are stuck at the 2.5m mark. Then ther...

Re: Brian: The right decision?

All this about evolving the team yet some of you seem to imply the Manager is culpable for working with what he had. Perhaps we should have stripped the team down to the base bones and built up last summer. :| Can some if you see the catch-22 of the points put forward. McDermott failed as he wanted ...

Re: Next Reading Manager

Shovelling shit for a living is a more tantalising offer than mamaging Blackburn Rovers at this moment in time. Although recent history would suggest the blackburn job is a no brainer. Sign a multi-year contract for a fair amount of money and then take the pay off after 60 days. Just popped my appl...

Re: Nigel Adkins

We can all wax lyrical about Adkins, but he spent a shed load of money and barely achieved anything more than Reading have done this season. McDermott outfoxed him last season, and would have done over the long course this season. All evidence to the contrary. I like the way the only argument again...

Re: Stewarding /Policing yesterday

I had the displeasure of meeting the same obtuse steward again blocking the entrance to the stand and making physical contact. As I stated - this is a fire exit, kindly refrain from blocking it. The same issue with the Police. It kills any form of atmosphere or the chance of it anyhow. It wouldn't h...
