Re: MATCHWATCH : Wycombe Wanderers (a)

Moore telling the Ref that their LB has committed two bad fouls and one professional one.I don’t want anyone telling me how good EFL refs are.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wycombe Wanderers (a)

Surely it had to be Puskas starting alongside Jao tonight;instead of Semedo.Three CDM s is crazy.Velcro will get pelters if we go under tonight.Sort of get the Richards omission;he’s on the plane out of here.Shame really.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Middlesbrough (h)

I watched a fair bit of the Arsenal Man City game over the weekend (you won’t here me say that very often)and it struck me how high the level of technical skill was.Certainly superior to back in the day.Players are certainly fitter and just as importantly the pitches are a 100% better.I remember goi...

Referees

I can’t stand Liverpool FC ;probably because I grew up with them winning the League nearly every year. However, how can that be a penalty for Everton’s second goal ? TAA is just lying on the ground, when Calvert Lewin just goes over him.As to the Sheffield U penalty claim;on balance it clearly is a pen...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wycombe Wanderers (a)

You do wonder if a loss mid week, will lead to a bad run of results;at least until Meite and Swifty are back.I think it’s time for a reset, and playing Puskas up front with Jao.Playing three CDM s is overkill;particularly as Ejaria and Olise are looking less and less, like match winners on the wings.Ho...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Middlesbrough (h)

Get off your high horse Zip ffs. It's not unreasonable to expect your local commentator to be able to tell your own players apart and accurately describe the action. maybe it is....(but) even Joel Hufford used to cock-up, as did the other radio station wannabes....easy mistakes Joel Hufford was a c...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Middlesbrough (h)

I think Velcro needed to be more positive on the subs.Puskas up front with Jao.Estevez and Gibson doesn’t seem to be a step in the right direction.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bristol City (a)

Here we are congratulating the boys on a measly 2-0 win, when they were on a losign streak, huge injury woes, imminent manager departure, and Watford were able to put 6 past them. Should we have done a lot better? I think Westwood52 must be your grandad with the common ability to pluck only negativ...

W - Boro (h) - Form-wise we should win, but I could see us losing this one W - Wycombe (a) - Form-wise we should win, but I could see us dropping points. Wycombe are fighters D - Rotherham (a) - League position isn't everything. Rotherham are no push-overs. I feel sure we won't win all 3 games W - ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bristol City (a)

I spent years playing CB. ,with the occasional CDM.There were games I found it so easy at CB,that I became bored.I then put my hand up to play RB against the Gurkhas somewhere near Wycombe;after about ten minutes going up and down,I thought I was going to die. Did you used to go up for corners? Nop...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bristol City (a)

Morro’s goal was a classic example of creating your own luck. The vision and confidence to drive forward and keep going was quite outstanding and by doing the unexpected he got the reward. If he’d simply won the ballin midfield and played it safe we probably wouldn’t have scored.... Lucky ? Perhaps...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bristol City (a)

Two fortunate goals and a few iffy individual performances. However Yids and Rino were excellent. The loanees were all poor;although to be fair Semedo did win a lot in the air.Another Ejaria screw up.It looks as if it is going to take time for Puskas to get up to speed. You sound like you need to fin...

Solid hard working champ striker, 14 goals last season, capable of brilliance on his day Not going to suddenly score 15 in the rest of the season but a very useful Option to have knocking about Scored 14 in a season when the team was very average. Imagine he’d score more in a functional set up like...
