Re: Florist (A) Match Thread

We usually score at some time during a game.
Thor will get us level before Long comes on.

Will the moaners be back if we lose?

Re: I think Reading may be relegated this season.

I'd go along with most of that apart from the Ian Dowie thing. Anybody but Dowie please.

Rodgers could come back: he could appaer coming out of Madejski's shower claiming it had all been a dream or something.

Re: Where's Madejski?

The Madman states that the Odd Job Boys would not be RFCs cheap options if appointed as Manager and Asst Manager. So if that is the case then according to SDR 's media chums the Madman has let it be known that less than £200K is available as the salary for a new manager. This would be the lowest in...

Re: Why Can't we play like Swansea ?

Marek can pass, but he isn't as athletic as most of that Swansea team. Most of them could tackle as well. We could play like that, but we have a different system which seems to be working albeit not massively well for the last few games. Marek cannot pass. His bodyshape looks right and he can split...

Super Kevin Bremner! Massive lumps in the throat.

Fook me by the way, can anyone tell me EXACTLY why we let Bobby go?

25s in and I was thinking exactly the same thing!

Re: S Hunt V Bullard

Hunt would have been a better bet for Hull. If you buy Bullard for £5 million you have to pay Fulham wages for the next three years to a player in his thirties who is very injury prone. I would say that Hull are mental to buy him: they are not going to want to still be paying him seven figure wages ...

Re: STEPHEN HUNT - IS HIS TIME UP?

I think Stephen Hunt is the best winger ever to play for Reading, and think that our promotion chances are totally down to his efforts. H eis like Glen Little but doesn't spend his wjole career on the subs bench. He is like Phil Parkinson, but Premiership not Endlsleigh league quality. If he read th...

Re: Assists

AlexY25 We score so many more goals from set pieces recently than we have in previous years. Mainly because our goal threats (Doyle and Nhunt) are good in the air. So S.Hunt has got a lot more assists.

Oh come on. I think I would have got a few goals playing centre forward for Reading this year.

SCIAG
Deathy Sir Matt Busby played for us didn't he?

During the war. And that doesn't deserve a mention, neither does Best. He did less for Reading than Shane Long.

But more than Harper, I presume.

Darren Caskey
When he was on form it was just brilliant wathcing Reading for a season or two, and on the whole, it has been good to be a spectator ever since.

I din't go to the game and I didn't listen to it very closely, but honestly what was Long doing today, and that Stephen Hunt is playing so rubbish. And it was like Harper wasn't even playing. Sort it out Coppell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bikey is now becoming a bit of a Lita - good enough but not picked.

I am pleased for Long - he deserves a start and might take a bit of the pressure off Doyle with his running.

Wearing a football shirt over jumper should never be allowed. End of. Why not? If you are and adult and are going to wear shiney polyester sportswear, you have broken most of the fashion rules anyway, and can probably relax a little. Unless I pass a mirror, I never see well-dressed people at the Ma...

I too saw the Swindon 4-1 game from the away end with water filling the terrace and my friend Matthew's welly boots 6-0 defeat at Walsall in the promotion season Dean Horrix scoring from a cross Trevor Senior scoring from an overhead kick A Notts County player being Readings player of the month A go...
