Re: Wage bill

My understanding is that he's now the head honcho on a day to day operations basis. Apparently responsible for the decision to sack Adkins

Re: Wage bill

Has anybody has mentioned Murray's wages of 25k per week for four months either this season? Most of theU18s/ U21s will be on 2-4k per week, unless they've signed deals like Tanner, in which case more like 8k. We also have over 100 managerial and coaching staff on the books; Nigel Howe is on 400k a ...

Re: FA Cup 5th round...

It will be a cracking draw (home or away) as I'm going on holiday that day, and they'll move the Wigan game to the following Tuesday night as well.

Re: Cardiff FAC (A) match thread sponsored by the Wembley ar

Wycombe Royal Not a fan of five man midfieldes and one up front.

It could be a 4-3-2-1 Christmas tree formation, with the width coming from Obita And Gunter.

Alternatively a 4-4-2 with Blackman up alongside the Pog (ok, maybe not)

And, of course, not only have we brought in two players, but actually we've had three depart the wage bill as well. Plus two out on loan.

Re: CONFIRMED Nathaniel Chalobah

What's the contractual position of our central midfielders? Aren't Jem, Akpan and Guthrie all out of contract in the summer? Perhaps this is a try before you buy deal for NC.

I'd seriously question whether Jem will ever get back in the team on a regular basis.

Re: CONFIMRED - Glenn Murray on loan

1 goal scored in 3 hours playing time since Murray left suggests that we're not better off without him But we've also been much tighter defensively. What does that say? It's about the system played by different managers as much as individual players. We've created a lot less chances. If you watched...

Re: RFC 2014 accounts

Nothing new in the Star write up other than about the ownership. I understand that it was Nigel Howe who was in control of the decision to sack Adkins. IWS no longer that actively involved post-takeover. I still expect the Thais did not take on the full 46m of debt, but TSI (and SJM) were paid a muc...

Re: BFTG - Huddersfield

Perhaps there could be a sin bin for dissent as well as the 10 yard punishment. My son is a referee and he has been encouraged to talk to players to explain decisions, especially at junior levels. I suspect there is more communication between the ref and players at professional level than we see. It...

Re: RFC 2014 accounts

Does it look like anywhere in there that the future parachute payments were mortgaged/loaned from Vibrac and that money subsequently dissapeared somewhere as i have been led to believe? Daz, there's nothing in there that can help anyone draw those kind of conclusions. Unfortunately the accounts onl...
