YateleyRoyal
MR. CYNICAL Can anyone tell me what he's about?
Seen him 4 times now and he looks well out of his depth, poor first touch, wrong player to play the lone striker roll,

Would you prefer he played the lone striker baguette?

Re: Could we be involved in a relegation battle?

Totally agree - look at teams like ManUtd when they play their reserves in the cup, they usually lose too (with the exception of Arsenal I guess - but their reserve team on paper costs probably 10x our first team). So they've learned to keep in some senior pros and only add 4 or 5 into the team. Loo...

Re: Back from the game - Swansea (A)

This was worrying against a team ripped apart by Boro on Saturday, we were second best all over the park. Feds was excellent and will need to be on this showing. Never mind the play offs we looked a relegation outfit out there tonight, we failed to have one attempt on goal and never looked a threat...

Re: Back from the game - Swansea (A)

It's quite scary really - ever since January, watching Reading, you just can't see where the next goal is going to come from. That's pretty much the opposite of before Xmas, where you felt even if we went one goal down, we'd score one or two sooner or later. And with no proven strikers on the pitch...

Re: Swansea V Reading Official Match Thread

Isn't Harper injured  No just under used by a manager who hasn't really set any houses on fire (so far) with his tactical awareness or his ability to spot a problem and put it right That's a bit harsh surely after three games .... and anyway when Harper came on today if anything Swansea looke...

Re: Back from the game - Swansea (A)

Fair summary SJ. You must be disappointed with whats happened at the Liberty over the summer. I was looking at the team sheets tonight and the Swans looked there for the taking. Both sides are trying to play football the right way but are lacking in self-belief at the moment. LOL - but then you loo...

Re: The Unruined Tommy Smith RUMOUR Thread

Victor Meldrew As posted a few weeks ago I reckon this is the current season's Goater transfer.
Everybody knew that it would eventually happen but it took months to come to fruition.
I still think this one will happen, probably by Friday.

Nope won't happen.

Re: Swansea V Reading Official Match Thread

None of our strikers are anywhere near good enough to lead a decent Championship side frontline. Not even remotely close Simon Church monitored by Liverpool - LOL Tommy smith looks like he is coming but another striker, preferably one that weighs more than 8 stone and is able to hold up/head the ba...

Re: The Unruined Tommy Smith RUMOUR Thread

Does anyone else think that Watford are just dragging this deal out as long as possible? They probably just want to get a couple more games out of him before they have to sell him and in the meantime see us/BR suffer. Us losing probably helps their cause as well - as the more desperate we become, t...

I think Shane Long's place is super-sub, always plays best in that role like in first game vs Forest.

Re: Wakey wakey

I've watched us though thick and thin but once you've sampled top flight football you want it all the time. It's the club that states its ambitious with mr mad and all his spin. All i'm saying is that the club should not build up the hopes of the fans like they do. ^ agreed. I've been saying this f...

Re: Team For Swansea

Good news Kebe isn't fit to play - so at least it won't be all his fault if we lose. Royalee will have to come up with someone else to blame - sure it'll be Rosenior or Long.

Re: New Signings ?

Yes but you could have spent several million and still got relegated and then we'd have needed to cut our cloth even more like Watford are having to do now ....
