Re: New Manager Press Conference 12pm today

Very good news. Now let's get behind Clement, and try and help ensure we get the 3-4 wins we need to stay up. Well done RFC for not hanging around. Bloke has a decent CV. And now, rather than find an excuse for not going to the QPR game...I am looking forward to it. Best of luck Paul. Welcome to RFC.

Re: FAO Season Ticket Holders - Renew or not?

100% will renew.

Stam will be gone, as will 8-10 of the 'players' that are illegally making a living pretending to play for RFC.

Am actually looking forward to next season, once the dead wood (Gunter, VDB, McCleary etc etc etc) have long since gone.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wolverhampton Wanderers (a) sponsored by Sammy Chung

The ONE consolation from our inevitable relegation in a few weeks time, is that there are some current players that thankfully we will NEVER EVER have to watch playing for us again. Gunter for one. Captain ???? Leave tomorrow please. So many others. No heart. No fight. No passion. No interest in OUR...

Re: Gate figure conspiracy-gate?

We have just over 12,000 season ticket holders. In common with ALL regulations, clubs should report the number of tickets sold for that fixture. The money taken from season tickets is deferred in the accounts over the course of a season. Quite simply, someone at RFC has made an error with both the S...

Re: Please not tonight boo boys

Tonight is a massively important game for Reading, bearing in mind the fixture list that lies ahead. Please, please can everybody get behind the team tonight even if, in fact especially if, we go a goal down early doors. Tonight is not the night to vent frustration on the manager or players. The pl...

RFC too soft

We give all away fans tickets for 20 quid yet very few reciprocate this offer. In addition, we mostly allow away fans to turn up and pay on the day. Yet tomorrow there is no pay on the day and ticket sales ended at noon today. Absolutely madness. We seem to make it so easy for away fans to get cheap...

Awayawayaway The obsession with our 106 is tragic.

It was done, who really cares if it's beaten?

Re: Relegation Watch

And although not "2 games in 1 day", it was as 'recent' as 1984 /85 season that we played on consecutive days. May 13 - away to Wigan May 14 - home to Gillingham (and by the way, we were away to Bristol City on May 11 also !!!) And up to the last 1970s, is was regular to play 3 times over ...
