Re: Madejski Out and I mean Out

Part of being on this discussion board is so we can all voice our opinions and reasons for them. Some people come on here just to wind people up, sometimes it works and some people just ignore it, but to say we are better or worse than other clubs or we have no reason to moan or we should think abou...

Re: Simon Church

He hasn't looked too good Yet, but he's trying to get used to a new system and a striker can't score without the service.
He deserves more time.

Re: 4-4-2 or 4-3-3

I've always prefered 4-4-2 with two forwards and two wide men. Its not just yesterday, we hardly looked like scoring against forest either. And as I said I hope I'm wrong. Its just an opinion.

4-4-2 or 4-3-3

Brendan Rodgers has decided to go with a 4-3-3 formation and I don't know about you but I would prefer a return to 4-4-2. I know its early days and I hope I'm proved wrong, I just don't think we have a enough goals in the team. Incidentally why did we have no one in the six yard box when we were tak...

NO!

We also have to be mindful of Noels feelings, if he thinks we're going over the top with our hate/abuse he may want out also.

Re: Stephen Hunt to Hull

I hope he goes to Hull, he will get on well with Phil Brown...both have a lot to say and have no class.
Is it a coincidence he's on duty for ireland , as he always seems to open his gob when he's away with them!

Re: Back From The Game - Nottm Forest

I'm fairly happy with todays performance, good ball retention although we looked a bit toothless up front. It was good to see Fed play the ball short with some goal kicks although we were lucky their forwards weren't too aware at times. I thought Long looked sharp when he came on.

Re: The Great Bus Rip Off

I know when we first moved to the Madstad tickets were only 50p and the club were subsidising the prices. And I know everything has to go up inflation, fuel and staff costs etc........but surely £4.00 is too much? We are being ripped off again as Reading buses know they have a captive market and not...

No game is allowed to start until Paul Black turns up! Brentford away? He didn't arrive until 5 minutes before the end. Part timer. Love the coat though.[/quote] 93/94 season? He "claims" to have made the last 5 minutes...should have left the pub a bit earlier and he might have got in, li...

Re: Steve Francis-where is he now?

Uncle Andy remember him getting concussed in a match and his legs turning to jelly as oppo player coming in on him, think it might have been vince some one or other, said player then getting loads of abuse even tho not his fault.

I've not seen enough of Hamer, so at the moment I would say Feds. Andersen needs a season on loan elsewhere.

Archie's penalty I hated Mcateer for years after that game. But boy was he good. He tore us apart. Shame other teams after that played him out of position...

He was good and I hated him so much!
Does anyone remember the song " He's bent, he's queer, he takes it up the rear McAteer McAteer!

No dissrespect to Damian 'most of the season i've played' Duff, but in Newcastle you will be remembered for the own goal which sent your club down!
