Snowflake Royal
Coppells Lost Coat Clean sheets guarantees points.
There is no point being able to score 2-3 goals a game but concede just as many.

You can't win if you don't score. You can draw and win if you concede. Lots of draws put you in a relegation fight.

Re: CONFIMRED - Charlie Adam

IF he can stay fit, and IF he plays regularly and IF he can return to something like his previous quality and IF we're paying him a low basic, then this is a good signing. That's too many major ifs for me though, and honestly I think this is as poor a signing as O'Shea was last summer. The mission ...

Re: CONFIMRED - Joao Virginia

Watching a couple of you tube clips, I can understand why Jose likes him, he's good with the ball at his feet, and distribution looks good too...but he's not particularly tall, looks like he likes to punch the ball, and for me is going to find the EFL a step up. As mentioned , physically he may find...

Re: Explain like I'm five: our FFP crisis

So I can only assume that if this is announced today/tomorrow that this will bring down this years losses giving us more wiggle room in the next FFP period. I also wonder if any consideration on any new sponsor / sposnsorship deal considered how that payment is made - i.e 100% up front? Like you sa...

https://twitter.com/uglygame/status/1141232038474858496 Succinct thread from the brilliant Martin Calladine. We're not looking too healthy. So, regurgitating a Lowe piece, with added on inacuracies ( failed to pay the players - not true - it was due to a HK Bank Holiday admin screw up) is hardly a ...

Hendo I dunno, Hughes was good for a short while when he played in-behind Forster.

Very handy stop gap utility player when our options were otherwise limited too.

Hughsie was good value all round

Re: The way things are/were done

I quite liked Joey in his interview but getting a bit bored of his ‘didn’t want leaders’ thing Basically Clement made it clear there wasn’t any leadership on the pitch before he came and that was pretty evident in our dismal fall down the table. If Joey was a ‘leader’ as he claims to be, he really ...

URZZZZ Interesting article on Drenthe. It’s a shame because he had quality, and he always seemed to work hard when he played for us, there was just something not right about him

He was a show pony.

Re: Financial Fair Play

FFP is just a fcking joke anyway, its entire inception is designed to keep the large elite clubs in power, any guise of it being for the "long term financial stability" of smaller clubs is a blatant lie. + ironically the spiralling revenue / disparity between the EFL & the PL , with o...

Re: Financial Fair Play

Report in the Times today that the EFL are set to review the FFP rules this summer after complaints from Championship clubs that their rivals are exploiting the system by selling off their grounds and leasing them back as a way of balancing the books- Sheffield Wednesday, Derby and 2 other clubs ar...

RIP - Gordon Neate

Just seen on Twitter that Gordon ' Fred' Neate has sadly passed away.

Not old enough to have seen him wear the hoops, but was our Groundsman for many many years, & do remember him working on the pitches and both EP & Madstad.

Condolences to his Family - A true RFC legend.

Re: BFTG - Baggies

Just fantastic today. Gomes has done quite a magnificent job, . Martinez was outstanding today and that save he made out for the corner is one of the best you will ever likely to see. Shot was unexpected, went like a rocket and right in corner. He was full stretch and finger tipped it around the po...

Re: That Robin Friday goal, now visible on video (sort of)

I wasn't one of the 50,000 who claim to have been there, but I heard it was from the halfway line and he celebrated by knocking a row of policemen's helmets off and then rushing to the changing room to take a dump in Mark Lawrenson's kit bag and downing 4 pints of lager and a shot. You forgot to me...

9pt deduction for Brum apparently. Not quite enough to really drag them into it, but a couple more defeats and they'll be worried So Brum at home on the last day could decide what leagues we play in next season . . . What could possibli go wrong! Lets just hope we both need a point , and play out t...

Re: BFTG Leeds Home

Totally outplayed by a team with the Prem in their sites. Energy levels simialr to those of Huddersfield when they had 10 men against us in the PO year. Technically better in all areas, and was really impressed the way 3/4 of them broke fast when in possesion. Excellent finsishes for all their goals...

Bombard them early, get plenty of players in the box, score a couple, then pass them to death for a comfortable home win.

And then I woke up.

Decent all round, without looking too menacing. Defending has improved massively, and confidence is back. Credit to jose, in a short space of time we've turned a corner. 2 months ago villa would've won that easily. Um, last August we drew with a Baldock 93 minute pen. Lovely day out then and all th...
