Rumoured abbey injured. Would go to Dean/Bindon

McIntyres performance second half was unacceptable. And I think I’d be strongly considering getting Holmes out the door and possibly a few quid for him if lucky

Yiadom be lucky to keep his place as well

Fair to criticise the defence, but we have also scored 0 goals in 2 games. We've toothless.

That was absolutely oxf*rd dreadful. I was expecting a slow start this season but the win against Millwall gave me false hope.

Holmes and TMac don’t look good enough at this level and they are both way too slow. Why on earth Craig didn’t get a start today I have no idea, as he is far better than Hutch.

To the people who are upset right now - it's you're own fault for allowing deluding yourselves that things would be any better. Why do you assume that that reason we are continually shit is just because of the manager? Could it not be that we have shit players?

Another deluded fool of a manager. Them losing 7-0 last week is a "reference point," especially when you are a club who constantly do this against poor teams who are either out of form or been on the end of a thrashing the week before.

Yeh, muppets for thinking that a team who can beat a top half Championship team 4-0 can get a result against a L1 mid table team.

Maybe thought that some of those that started v Millwall would have started today but no, apparently even young players can't cope with 2 games in 5 days

Neither Holmes or TMac would look out of place for Hungerford or Slough Town

I agree that the focus on the manager is misplaced.

The Dynamo Dresden ultras used to turn up to training masked up and deliver motivational threats to the players.

Now some might say that won’t work but they’re currently higher than us in the football pyramid of our respective countries.

We’ve been too soft on the playing staff for too long. Heads must roll.

TMac should be a DMF....not a defender. No manager seems to accept this for some bizarre reason.

Same as last Saturday.
Looking confident early on, passing the ball around nicely and seemingly the better side.
This time against a side that won't finish as high as Peterborough and that lost 7-0 last week we let them into the game (no high pressing), they grew in confidence, we didn't and they could well have won by 2 or 3.

Last season our defending was abysmal and we created very few chances.
Early days for sure but our defending remains abysmal and we still create few chances but now at a lower level.

I feel disappointed for the good number that made the journey-we are a difficult side to continually support when they so often fail to deliver.

Unfortunately Andy Carroll is becoming the scapegoat-he can't be faulted for any lack of effort whereas Azeez just produces so little and has become the new Loader in not fulfilling his early promise.
Time is obviously on his side but at the moment he, like quite a few others, really doesn't warrant a starting place.
It looks like being a long old season unless those other promised signings come to fruition.

That was diabolical. Whole defence needs to go, Carroll and Hutch need dropping. We need more signings in and have to hope the rot hasn’t set in for the few bright lights here.

Selles had a mare today.

One of the main criticisms of Carroll was how badly he reacted to being needled and fouled all game. He was on a red card tightrope.

He also missed a penalty. Completely different game if he scores.
