Hull Away - Prediction Thread

by Readingfanman » 27 Dec 2010 11:15

Who's making the long trip? I have train tickets from Kings X to Hull and back for the 9-48 and 5-52 YP for sale as I've secured a lift. Got these x2. Anyone want them for a small fee?

Hope to see the same team out apart as yesterday. Prediction - 1-1.

Depends on whether the snow hits the Hull area I guess. The weather is now milder so the pitch may thaw but snow is forecast for the North so it must be touch and go.

Weather for Hull tomorrow looking deciedly dodgy - heavy snow from 9 am carrying on after 12 noon in the morning.

Worst possible timing.

Hopefully it will be ok.

Had some early snow up here in Sheffield but now turned to sleet and rain as it warmed up.

Metcheck says differently - http://www.metcheck.com/V40/UK/FREE/tod ... pcode=Hull

Light sleet early morning, followed by rain and temperatures struggling to get above 1

Hull 0 v 2 Reading

Mills (32 mins)
Hunt (69 mins)

Crunchie bars will cost 90p in the refreshments bar and lager will be £3.20 a pint.

The man in front of you in the queue for a pie will be wearing a hat.

When you go for a piss at half time there will already be six ladies queueing outside the toilets due to a major architectural flaw in the provision of cubicles in the ladies loo.

You will overtake six red Ford Mondeos on your car journey from Reading to Hull. And four on the way back (but as it will be dark you won't see them.)

At some point during the game you will realise the seats at Hull's ground are too squashed together and uncomfortable.

They will play Tiger Feet by Mud at some point during the prematch 'entertainment (and no matter how hard you try you will not be able to resist doing the dance!)

RFC reckon the game will go ahead then: "On Monday evening the KC Stadium pitch and surrounding areas were in perfectly fine condition. Only light snow is forecast overnight but no problems are envisaged and both clubs are planning as normal for the game."

My prediction: Hull City 1-2 Reading (Long, Leigertwood for RFC)

Will be happy with a draw, but I fear a narrow loss 1-0.......... :(
