Anymore Signings?

by LoyalRoyalFan » 11 Jan 2011 23:00

After signing Leigertwood and looking set to complete a deal for Williams, will McDermott dip into the market again?

UPDATED - After the rumoured Brett Williams deal as well. Wright-Phillips deal off as well.

Seriously, another striker and defender slated if possible. Favourites currently are Sean Morrison (Swindon) and Mathieu Manset (Hereford) so, like Williams don't expect any wow factor this window....

From What AP said, Manset sounds pretty decent, and he would offer us something completely different up top. Plus he's a fcuking beast. I'd be very pleased if we signed him.

Do we know how the sponsors feel about having a competitor's name on the shirts?

BBC news in the West has just said that Morrison has signed for Reading for £250k (he had a clause in his contract such that any Championship, or above, club who bid that amount could have him)

In the same way that Gylfi - and all other players - have a clause in their contract saying that any offers over a specified value will be put to them.

I wonder if the STFC fans are now crying foul that theor club has betrayed them and cashed in, and has a lack of ambition.
