Big Foot 16-Mar-04 - PASS

There was definitely one game away at Cardiff where we won 3-2 with a very late header from Dean Morgan (from a left-wing Paul Brooker cross IIRC). Timing seems about right for this one.

melonhead other than tabb being in a winning team, and playing in our "run" of 3 good results(if not good performances)
not a vast ammount. BBCRB were saying he was good in second half.
tbf i think our midfield problem is ledge, not the other spot.

Tabb was awful for 90 minutes. Ledge pulled hs finger out afte an hour and was instrumental in us getting back into the game.

Brooker cross for Morgan goal.

A stark reminder for anybody who suggests that we're worse now than before the Premiership.

- Is that the first league away game we have come from 2 goals down to win since Darlington in 1991/92, Strap?

Need tp pay more attention old bean, we were 2 up in that, then 2-2.

I cant think of another away game where we have come back from 2 down to win. Since Chesterfield last game to stay up in 89.

Maguire from a left-wing Paul Brooker cross

I bet Schards didn't celebrate that one.

Ian Royal What a pleasant surprise, I'd last heard the score was 0-2 and got home to find we'd only gone and bloomin' won. Marvelous.

Not only that, long time since a last minute winner ............ Strap where are you ?

Forest away 09/04/11 Church scored from close range to put 4-3 up in injury time after McGugan had eqialised to 3-3 with 88th min pen.
Leicester away 24/03/10 Gylfi pen in stoppage time to win 2-1
Plymouth home 09/02/10 Long pen in stoppage time to win 2-1

Back to our 85-86 record breaking seson, it has happened 17 other times.

90 Was Trevor again against Brentford
94 Gilkes Bristol City
95 Was Nogan against Derby great game
The others I am struggling with although one of the 97's may have been against Ipswich but I can't remember the goal.

OK, that's a  for me

Quinn had scored a (not as late) late winner against the Blunts earlier on that season.

Just spotted this. Must be Forster v Wigan in the p/o semi-final given the d8.

Hmmm, not so sure. Once the substitution happened Tabb was playing a lot further forward, just behind the front two, and did pretty well there in helping keep the pressure on. He's a much better attacking midfielder than a defensive one.

M-U-R-T-Y I'm fairly sure you missed out Notts County at home in 2002?

Good spot, Cureton on 92 mins. Filtered on 90 mins hence I missed this. Might be some others ...

Thanks for this, interesting. Who was it that failed to cover back adequately for their second goal? I would have expected our defender to have closed the striker down more, if not delivered a crunching tackle (albeit he was in the penalty area). If Mills, then this is a bit worrying as someone his age should be quicker than that. If Gorky, he's amassed too much credit to be criticised just over that. I suspect it's Mills. If so, then I must confess that I'm beginning to think he’s not the solution to our left-back problem.
