I remember being shocked at his performance in the Northampton cup game but I now can't remember why (but I don't think it was over the cards)

It would be over the fact that he somehow managed to both miss a stonewall penalty in injury time of extra time, and managed to find 7 minutes of time to add on at the end of the 2nd period of extra time, thus allowing Northampton to get their equaliser and so beat us on penalties.

Yep, that was it. Thanks, Mr A. At the time, wasn't so irate about the pen not given as we were ahead (despite having played like drains). That was, of course, until the phantom time added on and equaliser with the last kick of extra time.
