Back from the game - West Ham

by Royal Lady » 10 Dec 2011 17:23

That was a fantastic second half - I thoroughly enjoyed it! Couldn't single out one player really but Kebe was skillz and well done Churchy on your 2 goals.

LOL @ West Ham fans leaving in their droves with 20+ minutes to go. Shame on their players for some of their tactics - good on the ref for the 2 sendings off. Thought that last one should have been a second yellow too, but ref bottled it just cos the player put his arm round the ref and probably talked him out of it.

Yeah - it wouldn't be fair - no one had a poor game imo - I suppose Jimmy was brilliant - so if I had to pick one, I'd pick him - but I don't really want to. I love them all tonight!

Decided to go at 20 past two. Really thought we get hammered.

So so glad!!

I reckon we would have won it without the sending offs, they were toothless, big Lolz on the way back to the HP car park from the Spam fans,

"facking useless" "Noble can fack off" lol

my ST is in the West Upper and there were a few in there, most left at the fire drill.

Jimmy will definitely get done at their place !!

I can't decide if my favourite bit was Jimmy pulling his sock up or Cummings and Leigertwood passing it backwards and forwards over and over

Well pleased for Churchy grabbing a brace on his birthday!

Comedy skillz from Kebe, great to see

I'd chalk that win up to Ledge myself. Stamped his authority on the game from the 1st minute and controlled everything. Truely beautiful ball in from Alf for the 2nd too

Was a really enjoyable game even with a dire hangover!

Thought the team moved the ball well for majority of the game, west ham looked poor throughout. We were lucky on occasions but can't deny we didn't deserve anything less than 3 points. Both centre backs were solid and played really well and Alf had amazing vision for the 2nd

Fair play to church for coming on and getting a brace would be good to see him use that now to kick on and get some more. Leeds should hopefully be a good game!

Also loving the fact that there were more West Ham players on the pitch at the final whistle than there were fans in the away end

Do you know, I was going to say I wondered whether Churchy was starting to score again because he knows Gylfi is coming back.......but just the fact that he's probably over for his best m8s birthday must have given Church a bit of confidence.

Sebastian Couldn't really decide from where I was whether ALF's ball for the 2nd goal was going in or not, and whether it truly needed a touch from Church. Any thoughts?

Was wondering that from my computer screen. Think it was just going wide, hard to tell though, even from three angles in slowmo.

ALF was definitely shooting rather than crossing and it was going wide by about a yard.
