True, some but they were totally out of it at Barnsley. Freak result?

H 1-2 Watford
A 5-3 Barnsley
H 1-0 Derby
A 1-1 Leicester

Without that Barnsley result they still look poor.
Prior to that they had had seven straight defeats

Missing Keith Andrews. Big player for them this season. On the flip side, Ivar and Sonks are back since we last played them. Only good reviews coming in about them this season. 2-0 Reading.

A 3-0 Bristol City
A 1-7 Peterborough
A 0-2 Blackpool <<<
A 0-0 Middlesbrough <<<
A 1-0 West Ham <<<
A 2-2 Cardiff <<<
A 1-4 Millwall
A 2-3 Nottm Forest
A 0-4 Burnley
A 5-3 Barnsley
A 1-1 Leicester

P 11 W3 D3 L5 16-26 12 Points

Frankly, they could do anything. Great result at West Ham and good draws at Boro and Cardiff, amazing turn-round at Barnsley even if a freak result.

Could be a high-scoring game, and is losable, but have to bet that we can do it again.

At least 5 goals IMO. 4-2 or 4-3

1-0. Blitz them with pace in the first half, boring second half.

In their last 3 games they won the home game and got 4 points from the two away games ?

Extrapolate that over a whole season and they'd be champions In February.

2-1
We concede first. Equalise in the closing minutes of the first half.
Kebe scores the winner in the 89th minute.

Excuse me, but it isn't your place to make selective, meaningless extrapolations, that is Snowball's job and Snowball's job alone. Now kindly go forth and extrapolate.

Anyway - Reading are flying, clean sheets in 3 successive games and Ipswich's form is patchy at best.

If this doesn't equate to us squeezing a lucky draw or an away win then I will eat the milinery section of Jacksons.

Are you suggesting a three-game viewpoint is a meaningful form measure?

In the official form tables they are 18th for last six games

They were ripped to shreds at Barnsley in the first half. How they got the result was more to do with Barnsley blowing it
than Ipswich playing well. Then they beat a bad derby side (17th on form) by a single goal and drew 1-1 at Leicester who are
currently 20th in the recent form table.

Don't get me wrong, they have a good manager and a good squad and I expected them to be a lot higher, but they haven't
exactly pulled up any trees yet. Not a pushover, but we should be beating such sides if we expect to be top 4-5-6...

Agreed.

Based on their last game they can scrape a 1-1 draw away to Leicester, who are currently a poor side.

Is Andrews not going to be available? Is his loan up then? That's a big bonus for us if it's the case.

I'd hoped we might try and nab him in the summer (a bit out of our price range perhaps) as he's a good alround player and one that would've fitted in with the hard working ethos but also added a bit more guile than our main two. Didn't really expect him to score quite so many goals as he has though.

NO.

Perhaps the subtlety is too much?
