Their "intentions" will be less of a problem than "attention" seeking twats starting pointless new threads to discuss them.

Mr Angry Main concern is that there is no serious money behind it all.

If there is, I don't see a downside.

But you might be buying success. An ethos Reading fans are very much against.

That Friday Feeling What is/can be discussed on this thread that isn't on the TSI one?

Dunno, who cares? Given the range of implications, positive or negative, this could have for the club, it's understandable there may be smaller discussions spinning off the main thread.

People seem to be missing that none of those options necessarily mean you expect them to happen, or think the deal is bad news.

TBH, if you don't have at least a minor concern in line with one of the options, you're probably incredibly naive, or stupid.
cmonurz [Of Woodcote]Thought you were one of the more reasonable ones on here.

What gave you that impression?

My biggest concern is over the due diligence by PWC. I have worked for a similar firm on multinational DD and done big groups in a week. 2 months for a single company with sub 20m turnover with one asset and easily traceable revenue is ridiculous. This reminds me of when Peter Storie moaned at Peter Crouch for not understanding how long their Saudi bloke took for DD. He turned out to have no cash. So if you ask me the next two months are for Zingarevich and Samuelson to sell their deal to investors and raise the 25m. They have more chance with heads of terms agreed with SJM, but no guarantees they can get there.

.

Written with what appears to be a lot of knowledge.....BUT.....cmon...DD in 7 days.

Not in the interest of either party to complete in that time. regardless of company size,
turnover or assets, 6 weeks is a more realistic fast completion of DD

Erm I can understand the sentiment but I explained why I was genuinely interested in peoples fears as most people I know seem to have them, even while being supportive of what is an incredible deal.

I would hardly call my paltry 1000 posts over 8 years as attention seeking as you politely suggest. As someone who has lived in Woodcote for nearly three decades I can only say thank God there are few like your friendly sort!
