Just want to say. ALF is good enough it's just that HUNT is the same build and is having a fantastic season in a winning team! Benik adds height and pace and a different dimension. Maybe this guy can lead our line in the EPL!

A couple of thoughts:

- Has a presence, quite pacy, looks to pass the ball
- He has been employed for Arsenal as a wide left/wide right player when he played with the first ream (maybe as part of a 4-3-3) so could be to give us that formation option as well as up-top in a 4-4-2. Could replace a winger when we need a goal (better than Hunt going out to the wing in my book).

Or perhaps McD realises we are in a great position to be promoted and rather than take a chance we could lose players to injury or suspension decided to add to the squad to cover eventualities that may arise. This may also give ALF and Church a kick up the backside if this is what they need.

I can't see any problems with this, it seems to me McD doesn't seem to trust Cywka that much and Afobe can play out wide too. Just another option.

If the season was starting now I would be full of confidence with:

Roberts, Afobe, Hunt and Le Fondre.

I have purposely left out Simon Church!

Bring Back The SB Looks like Baseya's prolific career with us is over for the season.

Amazed we havent released him already.

Still clinging onto that magical performance at Reading University.

I think they need a rematch so he can remind Brian of what he can do!

Good point - when we went 4-3-3 (ish) on Tuesday we looked completely disjointed. Hopefully this could give us at least a little more of a 'plan b'...

Would he be eligible for play-offs if we get there?

RockheadRumple Don't really want to sign him to be honest. What's it gonna do for the confidence of Church/LeFondre? I would rather we played Karl Sheppard.

Church can't really get any worse so I couldn't care less. He's not good enough. Had more than long enough to prove otherwise and will go in the summer.

Who gives a fcuk about Church's confidence, he is not good enough has outstayed his place in the squad would be very surprised if he is with us next season

Pepe the Horseman
Simon's Church He's also not tweeted about joining us yet which kind of suggests he doesn't really give a shit. Mercenary.

Yeh, was thinking this. Seems like he's embarrassed, trying to hide us from his 80,000 followers.

Panic over, he's finally come to terms with how far he's sunk. Season back on track.

Welcome Benik.

The Rouge A West Ham style signing.

Mind games.

+1

He won't add anything to the team. Whatever West Ham can do we can do better.

Seen a clip of him @ the OS commenting on how pleased he is being here. He seems to be rated highly by Gunners fans and his teammates, specifically RVP. In training with us already and would not be surprised if he is featured in Saturday's game. 6 months out with an injury and just has worked himself back into shape, so he should be as fresh as if this was the start of his season. I am very happy with this...

It has probably been mentioned before, but the fact RVP and jack wilshere are tweeting about Benik firing us into the EPL can only be good thing.
