ZacNaloen So?

So people are expecting, nay depending, on me to be there. My non attendance because I wanted to watch a football match on the telly would be construed as being extraordinarily rude. The missus wouldn't speak to me for two weeks (estimate) and I would lose several valued friends.

...So?

Agreed.

Let me know when the book 'How To Win Friends and Influence People' by Zac Noleon hits the shops.

They obviously don't know you that well to have the remotist understanding of how important this match is.

Either that or you lead a shady double life.

Either is completely unpalitable.

I shall be ignoring my family in Belfast.

I would be watching this at home, except I'm going on the piss with my mates who I haven't seen since Christmas...so cue me being antisocial and glued to the TV in the pub tonight.

Also, I'll be in the Roundhouse in Covent Garden. Anyone in London should come down, there'll be quite a few of us....

That's true to the extent that none of them are football fans.

 - the swearing bit obviously!

A pub in Camberley beckons. Cant stand the thought of hiding behind my sofa with a grainy internet feed let alone listening on the radio. Probably go for ther Carpenters as it is the best of a bad lot. And if I was at my GF's there is no way I would be venturing into Romford to watch it either.

Loved that pub. Frequent user when used to work in Long Acre 86-88. Happy daze!
