Indeed. I am looking forward to it.

Your comment says more about you than me, however.

Nice to see that some of us can still be ungracious in victory.

Portsmouth as a club deserved every they got. Under successive owners they sought to buy their way to success through completely and utterly living beyond their means (note that is different from borrowing money when you are relatively confident that you have the means to repay it).

However, their supporters had little, probabaly no, influence over the way the club was run, so it is a shame that they have to suffer. But I guess that's professional football in the UK for you.

Good luck with the rebuild Kieran - at least you should have some good times to come.

Trust me, it is. I stand fairly near him. Nightmare.

It was good fun on sat getting relegated mind. plenty of noise and gallows humour, no crying, just laughing and wall to wall singing.

Its what footballs all about isnt it.

Pompey fans are among the best in the country and feel sorry for their loyal fans that their club has come to this. Hope they can find an owner who can at least get the club back on an even keel.

The same loyal fans that turned to blue seats this season?

Good luck for the future.

Thanks for all your kind words everyone.

tbf ave gate of 16500 in a ramshackled stadium (our equivalent of elm park) with half the population of portsmouth having been shafted by the club and bottom of the league. I reckon there are many clubs that would have much less turning out, including some, if not most of the so called bigger chanmpionship clubs (leicester etc)

We have at least learned from Portsmouth how NOT to do things.
