When they're playing well I bet a few of them have a look on here, doubt they do after a few defeats though.

He's been using that since before his dog came along. He uses it when he's impressed with something, or had a good game - that good he leaves flames in his trail...

Friday's Legacy I'm aware of two that post occasionally, and others are certainly aware of the board and some of its discussions. I don't think they take too much notice of the drivel that gets posted but they have on occasion enjoyed some of the Photoshop's on here! The board also keep an eye on what the fans a thinking, both on here and feedback they receive via post and e-mail.

Really!?

Binfield Royal I used to know quite a few players in the 2002-2005 era.

Andy Hughes looked on HNA and it nearly destroyed him.

Nicky Forster looked but never posted but did ask me to post a Thank you to the fans when he left the club (which I did and got abuse for it). He still considers Reading to be the club where he enjoyed his football the most.

The pervading opinion was that most of us really don't know about football and that our opionions can therefore safely be ignored.

I can't comment on any of the current team as I don't know any of them but like other posters, I suspect they know it exists but don't usually bother with it.

Makes sense. It's a bit like working for the railway and looking at the various railfan sites. Most of them know jack shit about the real issues, but often good for a laugh.

Friday's Legacy Alan Pardew actually banned the players from looking at this forum - though I'm not quite sure how you police that; but I agree it could easily destroy someone's fragile confidence.

Pardew banned me from the stadium too (and Mr Angry from the training ground, i believe) - when i ran OffAtEelven. Apparently the "rumour" that was posted about Forster and Caskeys wife was untrue and causing Forster upset :?

A hurtful rumour that didn't need posting, even if it was true. Likewise the one about Martin Allen & a players wife, There was one about Jamie Cureton and the Bristol Rover's chairman's daughter too, one about Sonko and a fan (no names mentioned)... quite a few in the Pardew era including the Adie Viveash personal/family tragedy, the abuse of Rougier & Hughes, the organisation of PANTS Day - You can understand the manager not wanting anything to do with the internet crazies.

I believe Mr Angry and others were banned because Pardews tactics were being leaked online, not necessarily by Mr Angry or by intent. The team used to train before the game and play with the starting lineup in coloured bibs, making it obvious to fans watching what the starting lineup would be. Pards was been worried about the old fuddy duddy managers in the division spending time and effort at silver surfer classes in order to view this important tactical data on here
