In the 93/94 season, Newbury won the leage by a single point over Chertsey only losing 3 games that season with Aldershot in 3rd place. The Aldershot V Newbury game that season attracted a 3,300 crowd which is a league record.

Members of the team for that season where:
Steve Richardson
Martin Hicks
Graham Kemp
Kevin Dillon
Peter Rhodes Brown
Brendan Rodgers
Steve Kean
Stuart Beavon
Mark Holzman
Mike Masters (USA international)
Matt McDonnell
Andy Parr
Andrew Deaner
Dudley Gardner

Matt McDonnel was a goal machine that should have played at a higher level. He scored 46 or 47 league goals that season, 3-4 short of a £10,000 bonus from the league for 50 goals.

Mark McGhee played a few games as well that season.

Andrew Deaner's dad brought the club for his son to play football but it all went down hill after that season when his dad went bankrupt.

Andy Parr (should have played at a higher level) was jailed in 2006 in Australia for 5 years for drugs smuggling.

The keeper was ex RFC as well but can't remember his name. The other centre back had league experiance as well but also can't remember his name.

No Fixed Abode Yeah - Graham Kemp. Made the first team bench for Reading for one game. Sounds like you played Abbey just before I joined them.

I think Danny Honey played for Newbury for a while. Clive Lyttle (Ex RFC youth) played for them as well.

Yep, think so. Like Phil Stant was although I think Phil Burns wasn't bought out like Phil Stant was.
