From Despair To Where?

Albert Spangler Have I mentioned that I love Bryn?

The guy is a ledge

That was the best game I've seen in the Premiership, and one of my favourite goals by a Reading player. Bryn hit a lazer guided shot so hard it was past Friedel before he could move.

André Stéphane Bikey-Amougou-Hoof!

Scared the living hell out of me every time he got near the ball. Seen he has just turned down Glasgow Rangers in pursuit of a better life still claiming UB40.

TheSiege First game for RFC in the Prem. They're playing Middlesborough and I don't have a ticket. The sun beams down and I listen to the match on the radio in the garden. At half-time we are 2-0 down and all of my hopes are shredded but, I must carry on! I get another beer at half-time and then:- WE SCORE! WE SCORE AGAIN! - and I am over the moon! We have proved that we deserve to be up there! A point from our first Prem game, but, THEN WE SCORE AGAIN! RFC will never give up, no matter which division we are in! In a strange way, I'm almost glad I wasn't there! I knew we would not be relegated - and we weren't!

Quality, am I right in thinking this was where Curo celebrated infront of the Bristol Rovers fans, by pulling a face at them? 8)

Currently have cracked ribs from trying to recreate this goal to piss of my palace supporting mate at a festival this weekend, well worth it.

It was Bristol Rovers and he just cupped his ears infront of them, brilliant moment.

Would absolutely love a good quality version of that picture, it does sometimes seem as though pre 2005 it's almost impossible to find decent RFC rel8d pics on the internetz

I got the photo off the Bristol City mailing list, I think. The version on my hard drive is dated 25 January 2001, so just a few days after the game. I suspect it was scanned in from a Bristol paper, and that the scanner is responsible for screwing up the aspect ratio. Keep meaning to sort that out but haven't got round to it yet - maybe some time in the next decade or so.
