I'm going to guess at 2-2 - but if we win I'll be jolly pleased.

Was paddling happily in a boat with my son wearing a Reading shirt last weekend and some c**t in another boat comes along and says 'We'll thrash you next weekend'; up until then I wasn't too bothered about the result, expecting us to lose; now I'm desperate to get a result. What a twat.

Hoping we can keep it tight early doors. If we are still level late on I would fancy us to go and win it, but I've got a horrible feeling we will struggle with their pace and be out of it by half-time.

Really can't decide on this one.

Will our long rest between games give us the edge over Spurs, especially when considering they had more players away on international duty than we did. Or you could equally argue that we may have lost whatever momentum we gained after pre-season and will be caught napping when Sunday comes.

Let's be positive and hope it's the former....

Under AVB Spurs will probably only get worse but, unfortunately, they have so much quality in their squad even his efforts to get them to "solidificate" will probably mean they are too good for us. I would be happy with a draw but am thinking 2-3 Spurs. I do think, however, that it will be a cracking game.

2-0 to them. if lennon plays, i worry about him exploiting Harte's lack of pace. also can see the sig getting on the score sheet.

Do all footballers read from the same script? Cliche doesn't even come close.
Surprised there was no "the boys played well" or "gaffer said to us at half time".

TBH that's the sort of thing I like about being a fan. Random insults from strangers.

I think it will be a high scoring game but what way it will go I have no idea. Was thinking maybe 3-2 to us last gasp Le Fondre goal.
