2-1 to us. A cup run could give us the kick start we need

I'm hoping for a first choice 11 to give them one last go to prove themselves before saturday, to get some confidence back, to kick start our season before we find ourselves adrift and a laughing stock. So I'm going 2-1 to us, pog and guthrie.

Get the rezzies out to get the back up players warm - we may well need them in the first team soon. Give them a chance to show whether they should be pushing for the first team and show the first team that they need to improve to keep them out.

It's a mickey mouse cup that doesn't matter worth a damn. We're on a hiding to nothing playing the first team. If we win, it's just the crap cup and no real morale boost. If we lose with them in then its just another example of how we can't do the business. At least if the rezzies lose we can blame it on PL opposition and a second string team.

The last time we won at QPR in a cup match we won the cup. So a repeat 3-1 win, although I don't think we will play Luton in the final....... :D

Didn't see QPR this week, but they looked objectively awful against Man City. Agreed this could be a good kick start. 2-1 Alf Guthrie for us.

Score draw. I'll go 2-2. Then - I don't want to tip us to lose, so... - we win on penalties.

The BBC says for Reading "a fixture with QPR is like a local derby"

3-3 at 90 mins, then we nick it on penalties
