Nezhen His horrific rape comments on MOTD provided a little insight into just what a small minded, sexist and arrogant man he is.

Wow.

Those are big judgements to make from one ill-judged spur of the moment comment

I never forgave him for telling us Reading folk to send our wives shopping prior to the Portsmout game 10 years ago. He is so utterly sexist, should be totally ashamed of himself, grovel and re-iterate his apology from all those years ago.
I say we should all bring a banner condemning the sexist Pardew.

PS Brooking is the slimy kunt with the squeaky clean image that poached Pardew in the 1st place and seems to have got away scott free with his Mr. nice guy image in tact. Also please bring anti Trevor Brooking banners too!

More details needed, how much did she spend behind your back?

......and you would most likely give a month's notice in accordance with the terms of your contract of employment.

Pardew reneged on his contract with Reading FC, a contract that he was no doubt very happy to sign.

NEVER FORGET

If someone offered you double your wages to start now......would you really work your months notice in accordance with your contract of employment :?:

He should get a hostile reception.

Makes for a better atmosphere.

Pardew said: “I won’t get a good reception. It will be horrendous probably because of the way I left. It will be a pretty charged up atmosphere.

"I went back with West Ham a few years back and they didn’t grasp the intensity of the opposition. Reading will be fuelled up again.”

Rumpole I don't really give a shit about Pardew any more. Or McGhee for that matter. They're just footnotes. won't clap him either, he'll just be another opposition manager I'm indifferent to.

I used to like singing about McGhee

Except that his contract with us stated that he couldn't leave us for anyone other than a Premier League team....

Ian Royal Long forgotten IMO. The stink stayed with West Ham.

I don't think there was any stink - true if I remember correctly the terms of Pardews contract said he could talk/move oon if a Premiership club wanted him but at the time despite relegation West Ham, were not in the financial mess that they are now Pardew, viewed them as a bigger club with better prospects and was going to be paid more money so he left. But lets face if you were doing a job and another company came along offering you more money and better prospects you'ed take it. that's why I've always found it some what hypocritical that football fans slag off and abuse a player/manager who has moved on because he wanted to betterhim self when they would of done exactly the same thing.

Piss off, he had no legal right to speak to them. No one would have seriously begrudged him a move to a PL club, or a move to a club we'd given him permission to speak to. I think most of us were expecting him to be off to (PL) Charlton in the near future at the time.

This would be the West Ham who's then senior representative announced on the BBC that he was going to use "other methods" to get his man after being told he didn't have permission to speak to him. He couldn't have made it clearer he intended to tap him up without saying "we'll be tapping him up".

Much as the hostile reception does make for a better atmosphere and probably a slightly better game, I'm quite enjoying see him make a success of himself at Newcastle. I don't bear any ill-will towards him now, it's too long ago, we''ve had too much success, we've got our revenge and he's never said a bad word about us or handled the abuse badly.

I like him again. Even if he is a bit of a twat, he's quite a likable twat.

Not that my opinion matters, I'm stuck in the USW corner so the chances of any atmosphere there even if I'm shouting will be roughly equivalent to an astronaut opening their helmet on the moon and breathing out. And I'll probably last as long as the astronaut before some prawn munching bourgoise kunt has me kicked out for being poor and uncouth.

No. No. I couldn't trust him enough to hang around long enough to complete a project.

yet if Pardew came back and led Reading to the FA Cup final and won it he'd then be a hero to the fans.

Three words - let it go.

It will never be the same as his first return to the Mad Stad when Dave put two past Bywater. That was sweet revenge and a great feeling. Now it's just boring.
