Man Friday I'm not sure that's the reason as gay people can still have children. It's more the fact that you want your children to be like you or at least have a "pain free" life and there's still a lot of aggravation associated with being gay (aggro from people like The Siege, that is).

Unless medical science has made a great step forword, Gay people cannot have children! Tell me which couples, male or female, have conceived a child? The scientific world will be agog with the news! For your information, two males cannot conceive between themselves and neither can two females!

How about 3 males?

Ah bless, an attempt at humour. Not funny, but still an attempt.

What about 3 men and 1 woman (which is what i thought winchester_royal meant).

Nice try, but a flawed argument, I'm afraid. What if either the man or the woman you talk about are infertile. It wouldn't matter how 'in love' they are, they will not produce children. What about the children produced by rapists or prostitutes, or within loveless relationships? What about the children of 'celibate' Catholic priests?

My children will not be put up for adoption, so your hopes for them are cruelly dashed (even if they are mixed race heathens).

Only one man and woman are required for procreation, if they love each other! Would people on this site have children given to co-buggerers just so that they can say they are not anti-gay? I hope it's your children!

Yeah but the odds are much better if it's 10 men for the 1 woman

What don't you understand about how adoption works, TheSiege? Unwanted children are entrusted to parents who will take care of them. When you have to pretend that a) 'buggery' is a pre-requisite for adoption and b) adoption involves people's own beloved children being taken from them to give to gays, don't you think the obvious fallaciousness there diminishes your argument somewhat?

MILLIONS of gay people have children.

Gay men marry straight women, manage to have babies.

Gay women marry straight men and manage to make babies.

Sometimes gay men marry gay women and manage to make babies.

And try researching "egg-cup love"

gay people can have babies by sleeping with and impregnating straight people, or other gay people
for instance a gay man could have a baby with a gay lady.

Upper West Ginger
Elm Park Pasty I noticed that The Siege did not reappear on this thread last night, maybe his head did explode after all that ranting the other night?

My initial joy at that prospect is tempered only by the thought of the contents of his head flying out and injuring innocent passers-by.

Nah, I think they'd be quite safe!

Just out of interest I know of two gay couples (one male and one female) where each of the guys has had a baby with each of the girls (presumably by IVF – I did not like to ask). They all live together as an extended family - two mums and two dads and are a very happy and stable family unit.

They all love their children and would do anything for them just like any heterosexual couple. In a way this is like the extended families of old. And just out of interest they are all practising Christians.

People like Siege are just very ignorant and will sadly not change in this lifetime. God judges our hearts and how much we love each other - not the way we are born.

Just found out that the girl I used to live next door to in Tilehurst is now married to another woman! Not that important to this thread, but she was kinda fit!
