LoyalRoyalFan So neither Tabb or Leigertwood offer anything going forward.

We have a Premier League class midfielder who has an eye for a pass sitting in the reserves.

Sort it out Brian.

I agree it is outrageous that Brian allowed Guthrie to get injured. Every manager with an injured player should be instantaneously sacked.

Tw*t

It's probably irrelevant that Guthrie is 'injured' McDermott had already dropped him and showed little sign of being ready to welcome him back into the fold.

This is an opinion forum, if you don't like the opinion, then maybe you shouldn't comment.

Your in the minority again sandman.

Is Guthrie really injured?

Aparantly we are trying to ship Guthrie out on loan, which would be utterly criminal. There is no chance that he is seriously injured meaning he is out of contention, it's Reading's classic smokescreen cover up.

Reason 2 - Tactics

Reason 3 - Transfer Record

Reason 4 - Failing to integrate new signings into the team

Reason 5 - Failing to manage bigger name players

Reason 6 - No wins in 11 games

Reason 7 - 6 points with over a quarter of the season gone.

Norwich are the worst side ive seen at the mad for 3 seasons. the fact that we didnt create much or couldnt beat them worries me.

Libertine So right now our best players are Tabb, who no one at the beginning of the season could figure out what he was still doing here, and Shorey, who was picked up for cover?

Explains alot actually... :?

Agree with this man time and time again.

MaccyD should leave immediately. His team selection, the lack of Guffrie and his team tactics are standing in the way of our Champions League placing, and Leon says so too.

"Tonight Sky Sports News understands that Reading have sacked manager Brian McDermott following today's 0-0 draw with Norwich City. Reports suggest that Royals' owner Anton Zingarevich with furious that McDermott decided to keep Jay Tabb and Mikele Leigertwood in Centre Midfield, rather than opt for the injured Danny Guthrie. Zingarevich said that he was influenced by knobheads on fans' site HNA?, who seem to be blind to the fact that Jabb and Leigertwood are incredibly hard-working, and seem to believe that the sun shines out of Guthrie's @rse, and his inclusion will change their season around, despite a few average performances and a couple of run-ins with McDermott since signing from Newcastle last summer.

We at SSN would like to add we also think McDermott is a spacktard, who has achieved nothing during his stint as Reading manager, and not picking an injured player is the final straw."

It's amazing the short memories people have. 3 years ago BM came in we were 2nd from bottom of the Chamionship lost 4-1 to Plymouth were are they now? Finished a credible 9th have reached two FA cup qauter finals. Wins at Anfield and Goodison. 5th place a trip to Wembley in the play off final, and a league title. All this despite having to sell his best players every season. And now ten games in to the season he is a useles manager who should be sacked....... :?
