Tabb is beginning to look like the real deal. I thought he was the best player for us last week as well.

I agree Gorkss needs to come out of the side and Pearce should come back in, but expecting Brian McDermott to make 2 changes after winning his first game is ridiculous. Unless injuries dictate the change, it's highly unlikely. Also chopping and changing the team every week isn't helping things. We need some level of stability now.

BM need to get tough and build on the win

Ian Royal Gunter wasn't great, but he was better than Gorkss IMO.

Great win, as some of us predicted! We will probably go on a roll now.

Is it fair at this point to tell all the boo boys to cram their negativity up their arse?

Who knows what BM will do next week. The team changes so often now, there's no continuity. Aggree Gorkss needs to be dropped at some point, and I think he probably would be if Pearce signed a new deal. Right now Brian wants and needs experienced heads, and that makes Gorkss all the more important - average performances aside.

If you want to see changes, then Leigertwood really needs to come out, as he's clumsy and makes far too many mistakes. McAnuff could also do with coming out of the side for a spell, even just to give him a kick up the arse. Gunter isn't better than Cummings.

Simon's Church I've liked Morrison so far but I've got a bad feeling he'll be shown up today.

Nothing more to say than

Fezza That is a proper lower mid championship side! No pace at the back and nothing exciting in the middle of the park!

January can't come soon enough!

Agreed. We'll be lucky to get nil.

I thoroughly agree. He still ought to drop Gorkss, but two defenders would be stupid, particularly seeing as Cummings is not really any better than Gunter. But we won, and he won't make a change that isn't based on either a new injury, or a recovered one.

We desperately need some stability, but at the same time we do also need to not play a centreback who hasn't had a good game yet.

We don't need another striker. Goals are going in, no problems. It's only a matter of time before the Pog gets pissed off at being on the bench.

I agree, we are scoring goals. Siege is right about another central midfielder though. Would be nice.

Just finished watching the first half on football first, how we we were not 4 down is anyones guess, two stone wall pens too, we have used up all the luck that went against us earlier in the season plus more. commentators say it was the most one sided half they ever seen, and its hard to disagree.

ffs Leigertwood did ok today against a very good midfield, mcanuff as well - he did a very composed job. Roberts was excellent today, bullied Everton's defence. Baines looked mediocre.
