Who mentioned the word sensitive? Re-read my post...clearly literate isn't another adjective I'd use for you alongside 'sensationalist' and 'self-important'...

Still wondering why it's no surprise I 'waded in'? If you can please confirm, thanks :|

Misread sensationalist, my apologies.

It's no surprise because you seem like the type that might agree with Thames' preference.

As it goes, I'd probably rather have 50:50 split between 'hoolies' and women/children. After all, you need some birds to look at between ripping up advertising boards/giving players an earful and also need youngsters to entertain and bring through as the next generation.

Couple of decent looking girls down the bottom yesterday as it happens. Don't want anything scaring them away.

So in summary, yesterday was all about a drunk bloke taking swing and a miss at a kid, another bloke falling over, an advert being thrown at a Reading fan and a chap with a beard wearing a hi vis top being shouted at by spanners.

Wish I'd gone now.

....and, as you'll have gathered from the posts on this thread; all of that was much more entertaining than the actual football itself. I'm just thankful the next round has given us a tranquil home tie.

To show over the top most of you lot are. I didn't even go to the game yesterday. I made that Abu Hamza comment purely as someone earlier mentioned a Reading fan called him a terrorist so "went on the wind up". Somebody then backs up my "insult" and says they heard someone calling him Abu Hamza. Complete nonsense.

Everyone is on the "We're a family club" bandwagon purely because there was a minor incident!

You should all be very thankful you support a club with one of the most family orientated fanbases because if you just happened to support a Millwall or Cardiff City then I really don't know what you'd do. I imagine you'd get really angry, get back from the match as quick as possible and tell all your internet friends how disgusted you are without actually saying anything to anyones face at the game.

I reckon this - and Shards post a couple of pages back - just about sums it up, doesn't it?

Jeez, there are some really sanctimonious gits on the Interspaz.

The Crawley fans probably didn't appreciate the 'get your tits out for the lads' chant sung at the 13 year old cheerleaders. Operation yewtree will be knocking on alot of middle aged beardy fat reading supporters in the next few days I imagine! In all a pretty embarrassing day to be a reading fan considering how well we were treated!

Appalled by the behaviour of the minority yesterday. Comes just weeks after one if the blokes carrying the Reading 13 flag stood on my toe dislodging my toe nail.

Ban these yobs!

The blonde did look particularly fierce

She's scarred for life by the whole thing and never wants to watch Reading again. She's currently eBaying her rumblestix and clappers.
