Did you leave early?

by Blue Jay » 12 Jan 2013 19:32

Having seen the large number of "fans" who decided after 80 minutes it was time to leave and stop supporting the team, could I just say "don't bother coming back"!

We really need supporters who follow the team through thick and thin and not people who need to get out of the car park or an early place in the bus queue. Over the years matches like this stick in the memory. If you can't be bothered to stay and support...F u c k right off!

Who are you to tell other people how to live their lives? If people want to spend their money on tickets and not bother to ever use them that's their choice.

I've moaned plenty about this in the past. But do you know what?........Their loss & they missed what could be a season defining 10 minutes.

I'm sure they felt really smug about missing the traffic.........until they turned the radio on & realised we were 3-2 up.

Embarrassingly, yes, I left as the fire drill chant started. Something made me stop in the concourse and go back, and fukk me am I glad I did.

No.

I have never left a game early and never will, regardless of the score line, and it is on days like today that I get my rewards.

The trouble is that they block my view by standing on the stairs. If you want to go early then go early, not gain a better view than those very happy to stay to the end. There was a whole family that left just before Kebe scored and came scurrying back when they heard the cheer  They were really barrated by the loyal fans sat around them

Did you enjoy it? Yes.
Did they enjoy it? no.
Did those people leaving stop us from scoring 3 goals? No.
So why the fvck does it bother you?

I agree with Dirker's on this one. Until someone else pays for my ticket I'll leave exactly when I want. I stayed btw.

A much better target of your ire should be those that keeping posting stuff like "we're shit" etc. etc.

I nearly did because my mate wanted to get out and onto a bus. We were just about to get up and out of seats when the first went in. I barely even celebrated tbh as getting another one seemed so unlikely at that stage. More than made up for it when the second went in and then nearly had a heart attack when the third went in.

Exactly.

Who cares when who leaves. Better than the North Stand pcunts who disgraced themselves today with their chants. Absolute wakners.

I don't really mind people leaving early. but those who left cos they were annoyed with the performance ,especially those crowing how shit we were as they did it, have got to admit the mugged themselves today.

I'm stunned that the North Stand actually found their voice? What did they sing? I hope it didn't throw the drummer off.
