WAZZOCK The majority of Twitter is awash with sour grapes about the penalty being awarded. They subsequently resorted to telling the world how shit our support is.

It's all a bit petty really.

Funny as our support today was very good I thought.

Bit of fun but:

Which home team would have bettered our home support?!!

Maybe 3-4 teams max

That'd be Newcastle and Brighton twice.

My point exactly

We were in Putney as they all ran up behind us closely followed by vans, cars and police on foot. Didn't realise they were Reading fans. just looked like a bunch of chavs no older than 18. Every one with a shit cap on. Pretty pathetic.

I was walking back to the station and a group of Stone Islanders in front of me turned back and said "m8 it's kicking off!" and ran back

We were sat in the Bricklayers Arms after the game, when a group of about 25 "Lads" came in. They only been there for a bout five minutes before there was blue flashing lights out side and they all left. I looked out the window a minute or two later and there police were chasing the lads all over the place, and the pub doors had been locked.

Can only assume they had done something before they came in as they did nothing wrong when they were in the pub.

Top post on the Owls forum

"Why was his (Joao's) goal ruled out ?? I was sat just to the Left of goal & still don't know why it didn't count"
The response was: "Cos it didn't go in? Unless I'm missing something"

I know they're stupid but I didn't realise they were deluded as well.

Silly northerners.

There's not a lot of rounded views on their forum - clearly at a different game to me

we were the better team and really should have won. We battered them at the start of the second half but Joao's miss proved to be costly.

Both sides wanted to keep the ball but we used it far better.

We outplayed 3rd place away from home without key players, so that's a positive.

Joao did hit the back of the net, but I still don't know why it doesn't count.

Wednesday were by far the better team for the first 45, up to about 70 mins

Joao's miss was the turning point. Reading were a poor side, disappointing to come away from there with nowt. Astonishing they are third.

I am so happy about the win today.....living up here is awful when they do well. Nearly all Wednesday fans I've met think it is still the mid 90s and they are a decent team. They have such a chip on their shoulder about how 'massive' the club is and how they 'deserve' to be in the Prem. The above reactions are the standard view of every game they play. Obviously I get the Tinpot, no history stuff all the time, so days like today are good. Yes it sounds like they were the more dominant team.....but like having 'the loudest fans' or 'the longest history', it actually counts for ox**rd all.

Interesting that they think losing to a team that is missing key players is a positive......
I thought we really struggled in midfield without Williams and Swift but to still take the 3 points against such a physical side is laudable
