Our Swansea curse doesn't just have an impact on the first team.

Couple of things i found out today.
Kian Leavy wearing a protective boot and Michael Stickland walking without crutches now. However 2 players seem to have disappeared - Michael Craig and Kevin Ehibhatiomhan.- as RFC tell us punters nothing they might be injured ???

Craig may well be on the bench tomorrow with Loum suspended.

I was wondering where Kelvin E has been for the last couple of games now as well.

I imagine he's probably ill or injured as he's been a fairly regular starter in the u21s and if he's not appearing and not on first team duty then that's about all that's left.

Royals and Racers F-T 0-3 very disappointing result- full match here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VHOhbVZUNVU

Poor performance. Swansea had much more control. They kept the ball better, they pressed better, they even counter-attacked better. We lacked shape, structure, and quality. We created one good chance, a 3-on-2 that turned into a 2-on-1, but shot straight at the goalkeeper.

Highlight of the match was their starting goalkeeper's movement off the ball. He basically broke our pressing system by constantly being available for the ball in the build-up phase. His replacement wasn't as good at that but by then Swansea were so dominant that it didn't matter.

Both starting keepers took knocks to the head. CBC clattered into one of our defenders while a Swansea player was stood nearby and won a free kick. Their keeper got a bang in the head when he, our forward, and one of their defenders all came together in a challenge for the ball - pretty sure it was our player who kicked the keeper that time.

No Aferba tonight then.

Good to see Azeez back in the mix, would be looking to ease him in very, very slowly and certainly not before the WC. Have him play 45/60mins in these games, get the warm weather training camp done and then look to integrate him back into the first team squad.

Jambang?

Signed in August
17-year-old defender Ayyuba Jambang was last at Norwich City and now begins a new chapter as part of our Under-21s.

Jambang was playing regularly for the Canaries in the Under-18 Premier League last season and is now set to take the step up to Under-21 football as a Royal.

What's happened to Kelvin Ehib?

Not with the first team either, is he injured?

Who knows ?? If we had some decent local journalists we might know the answer.
Fair play to the club who have posted on twitter.
The U21s led 3-1 at the break thanks to a hat trick from Femi Azeez!

That was followed by goals from David Nyarko, Louie Holzman, Adrian Akande and an own goal to seal the win in Suffolk!

No reason he can’t be on the bench tonight. He’ll be warmed up and full of confidence. Give him the last 20 mins.
