Hound
morganb Apparently there is already interest in Imari Samuels (OOC next summer) from a number of other clubs:

https://www.teamtalk.com/news/exclusive ... ri-samuels

hmm, don't know too much about him. If he has been so good, surprised he hasn't been in the squad for the league games though

Getting a bit frustrating seeing all these players ooc

Signed a 2 year deal last summer, which was right for a 17yo unlikely to break into the first team. Would be a shame if he goes but not the end of the world. He may even have a clause ìn there allowing us to extend for a year a la Nevers before we sold him.

Does feel a little bit that a lot of the clubs have been alerted to our situation and maybe looking for easy pickings. maybe its always been the cased but just a bit more aware due to our current skeleton squad

This is nice read

https://thetilehurstend.sbnation.com/20 ... -fc-royals

Couple of things stand out for me. I think myself a few other have commented that he doesn't look like a kid playing a man's game like a few other youth teamers have and do - would include Bristow in that. He looks ready for proper league football. And that might well be because he hasn't done the years of U18 and U23 footy that a lot of academy lads do.

Also his attitude seems spot on. Works hard, stays humble. Good signs

Good move for him. Were it not for McIntyre and Holmes development, I wonder if he may have had more of an opportunity here given the transfer embargo. But with Morrison in his twilight, he could still get opportunities in the future

Good be interesting given Rochdale are in the middle of an ownership battle which looks likely to lead to mass boycotts and extreme fan displeasure. They are owned by traditional shareholder set up with loads of small shareholders. A couple of outsiders have bought up a significant number of shares and are close to getting control….

Decent performance from the inexperienced side. Youngsters Clarke and Ehibhatiomhan as a strike partnership must be 13 foot between them !!! good to see Pauno and the 1st team coaching staff watching. I saw Lauren and Morrison also enjoying the action.

Change of date for the U 23`s next match, away to Stoke now on Sunday August 29th KO 3pm( was the following day )
Stoke are good at streaming their matches so every chance they will on this occasion especially as it`s being played at the Clayton Wood training centre.

Clarke looks very impressive considering he didn't even seem to start much for the u18s last season
