I like that your full-back offers more going forward than your winger, and vice versa defensively :D

Time to try McAnuff as a left wing back? Would offer more going forward than Kelly, and did a pretty decent job playing left back for most of last season covering Harte & Shorey

Started off as a left back. Isn't Kelly. That's me sold.

I know that. It's the memory of him playing there for Madrid that made me LOL.

I remember Gilkesy doing really well as a wing-back, so it could be worth a try.

Wasn't that the period when he couldn't tackle and just ran the ball over the end of the pitch whenever he got forward.

Completely agree. Obita and McCleary are fast, thats the best way to do well in this division. It's the way teams who do well against us seem to get goals.

Glen Little was pacey, hence our success.

Seriously, I would rather have a wide man who could keep the ball and beat his man with skill than a sprinter in foortall boots.
