HNA approval/disapproval of NA

by USA_Loyal_Royal » 07 Dec 2013 18:13

im curious to see what everyone's reaction is now that we have had adkins as our leader for a good amount of time in the chump and we have had the chance to see the change in style and see nearly 20 matches.

are you happy, upset, content, etc.

personally, i think he is doing a decent job with the players he has had and the amount of injuries we have been subject to. the style and quality of football has been better than in recent years. id like to see our form when our players are fully fit.

You missed "I think giving a manager just a single season is stupid and that we aren't doing that bad"

Seriously, Adkins has to work out why we aren't creating chances and we'll be fine.

Give him a full season i went with

I had hoped he would have brought Royston on at half time today, alas he didn't and left it late.Royston helped us pull one back and its a shame it came a bit too late.If the goal would have happened 10 or 15 mins earlier then i dont think we would have lost and threads like this would'nt be here tonight

Royston is a game changer and should have been on at half time for Obita with The Pog.....Taking McCleary off was baffling tbh(to me anyway)

Well you're talking rubbish.
I'd imagine if you had flown over to see a game this season, you would probably have left saying "Never again."
It's been as dull as I've ever seen it.

Who gives a toss about style of football & possesion. It's about shots, goals & tackling... and we're shit on all fronts.

this isnt about the loss. i was just curious to see where HNA stands on NA and the job he has done. ive only seen posts in other threads i thought id start a poll to see if NA has an overall approval or disapproval rating.

We know what HNA think on the job he's doing by the dozens of pointless threads below this one. There's what......3-4 new ones after every loss, same things regurgitated again and again........

Sounds like normal behaviour for a message board after a loss then.....

Adkins isn't the only problem though is he? On that reckoning he might as well stay until the end of the season, or at least or until we sort out who actually runs the club and what is the focus of the DOF at the moment. Im not sure what we would achieve by replacing Adkins now - it would be the same as the replacement of McDermott, i.e. he would be the fall guy for a collective disorganisation at the club. It was easier when we were a young club hungry for success. Nowadays, we still want success but wont take the risks to achieve it. Thats not an easy environment for any manager, so a change is pretty pointless really.

On occasion today a massive lump forward to Pog might have caused at least a save or something from their keeper - as it is playing passing football and losing the ball most of the time hardly creates many chances.

6th in the table not even half way through the season having inherited a team devoid of confidence with 5 first team starters out injured for long periods of time. Yeah he's shit, sack him.

If you chop and change the team as often as Adkins does, you'll never get a good cohesion between the players, the team spirit and work ethic just dissipates because they're playing with different players each week. Our successes have come from playing the same 11 (unless there are injuries) and them all wanting to work for each other and knowing how each other plays. Chopping and changing the team was the problem with Rodgers and is fast becoming the problem with Adkins.
