With that sort of attitude, the world is surely doomed.

It is raining, it is cold, the grass/ground is wet, so there could be slips and falls (never mind soaked kids and seniors who might become ill from exposure to these weather conditions) that might expose the town to lawsuits so the best thing to do is to cancel it for today and do it on our scheduled make-up day of May 10th. And as member of town government I fully endorse the decision to postpone it to a later date (so I can be here for this game).
