Burnley (h) Prediction Thread

by The Real Sandhurst Royal » 28 Apr 2014 14:30

Will we be good enough to beat a Burnley side that has only lost three games away from home in the league this season?

A tense 1-0 win for the Royals.

My predictions have been sh*t all season so you never know it's one last chance to get my second one right!!

Shredded nerves throughout due to the combination of results which could see us miss out. But at least it's in our own hands.

A late 2-1 win, with a tense final 10 minutes as we cling on to a thin lead with Burnley going for broke because they don't really care. I certainly can't see us keeping a clean sheet.

0-1 Burnley ahead for 85 minutes. McArthy sent off in the 89th minute, giving away a penalty

Federici on, saves penalty and in the 96th minute goes up for a corner and scores. 1-1

A policeman on a white horse stops Ian Royal invading the pitch.

Result through from Forest, Brighton are through after Halford deliberately puts one in his own net,
in the 101st minute, then rips off his shirt to reveal a T-shirt saying...

Yes. Would offer a lift share, but we're seeing family after the game.

1-1 but it is enough to keep us in 6th as results continue to go our way.

I think I'll be at work, briefly in pub if on telly, then back marking coursework. :x

Did the evening game last week and it wrecked me.

1-1.

Brighton to get an early lead at Forest which has all shitting it and a late equaliser from Forest gets us the playoffs.

Back to normal home form, so a 2-1 loss against a strong Burnley side. Luckily Brighton will bottle it as well and with Blackburn only beating Wigan 5-0 we sneak in by one goal! Anyone know which pubs are open at 9.30 (wetherspoons excepted) as think will need it

I'm going for a hard fought draw: 1-1

Brighton turn Forest over easily meaning we miss out. Bad times

0-1. Soft early goal from Arfield and despite dominance, Reading don't reply. Brighton to beat Forest convincingly to seal a play-off spot.

0-2 Burnley. We don't look convincing during the 90 minutes, play very poorly.

Brighton get a result against Forrest and we're out.

I really want us to win this one. Never been this nervous before a game and its only Wednesday. If we get a win against Burnley, I'll wear a Jester's hat and go and sit with the Mongs
