Don't give a toss about Brighton. Don't care who wins the playoffs because, let's be fair, none of the teams in it are going to do anything but get truly hammered in the PL without major surgery.

This, by the way is what would have happened to is if we had, by some miracle, gone up this year.

The only difference being, the club would get paid a fortune for us being the whipping boys for 9 months.

Good luck to Brighton. We never do that well against them or Wigan, so let's hope one of those two wins at Wembley.

I live 15 minutes from Brighton and am not at all pleased that they got into the playoffs. Local radio and press down here will have a field day at our/my expense. It has been awful this week with the lead up to yesterday and will now get worse. Luckily I am self-employed and do not have to associate with their fans too much. I hope Derby give them the proper spanking (ooer missus) they deserve.

Oh dear. Worthing is shit at the best of times, moreso now I expect... but at least you won't have long to wait before they cry on the telly again & go back into their shells.

The irony is that you see more between Southwick & Durrington than you actually do in Brighton and Hove

You always see huge numbers around town when they're doing ok and close to none when not. They're quite plastic in this respect.

Try to start a "you're just a town full of paedos" chant in costa. Might be quite funny.

To be fair, if we scored a last winner I wouldn't be up yet either...

Worthing/Littlehampton stretch of coastline notorious amongst those working in child protection for having a high concentration of pedalos.

Would obviously be pathetic. Not a serious suggestion frimbles.

Platypuss I've already got more than enough disdain for the players and fans of my own club to bother worrying about other teams.

Haha this

Excuses given, sorry, reasons given, so far include the following:

On Sky
On a school night in term time
On when GSCSE exams have started
People away on holiday
Difficult to get to on time after work
It will be dark when the game finishes and scared of the dark
The day has got a y in it
Having my hair done

They ripped the piss out of us when that happened to us! I worked in Brighton for a couple of years in the early 90's and from my experience Brighton fans were rarer than rocking horse shit. Most seemed to be Liverpool or West Ham... :?
