Chump next season

by USA_Loyal_Royal » 01 May 2014 16:11

The championship next season may be one of the strongest in recent memories!
-with 3 of: derby, reading, QPR, and wigan staying. brighton, blackburn, bournemouth, forrrest, watford, ipswitch, and middlesbrough having decent sides that could challenge for the playoffs.
-possibility of cardiff, fulham, norwich, sunderland, or villa coming down to the chump.
-Wolves coming back up after destorying league 1.
this could be a very very solid championship. especially since most of the midtable championship sides this season had decent squads it could be anyones race next year!

Looks likely to be a very entertaining division too. :)

Haven't they got a properly rich Russki, rather than one playing with daddy's roubles?

Also means that more teams will be able to take points off each other, so expect another mid-table up-for-grabs play-off hell shenanigan malarkey!

Good news for us - it's always the crap teams we drop points against.

Selfishly speaking as a Londoner, there may also be shedload of London away games. Could be Millwall, Charlton, QPR, Brentford, L Orient, Fulham, Watford and maybe even (v unlikely) Wet Sham.

The most important thing is this - if we stay down we could have:

Close games - Watford, Bournemouth, Orient, Fulham, QPR, Brentford, Millwall, Charlton

+ Wolves, Brighton, Brum, Ipswich, Derby and Forest at a decent distance as well.

That leaves just 9 up norf (+ Norwich). It'd be lovely!

Yeah, I want us to stay down.

Give the Yoof a chance.

I don't want Peterborough in the Chump next season if we are. I'm fed up of seeing us get done over at London Road and it's so temptingly close an away game.

At the end of the season we'll all be saying it's the weakest Championship for ages.

It should be strong, but given the apparently imminent folding of the club , we'll be doomed.
